B.Sc Mathematics at PVP College Ahmednagar Offline Course

B.Sc Mathematics is a Full-Time Three-Years Course and it is offered by Padmashri Vikhe Patil College of Arts Science and Commerce, Ahmednagar and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

In the year 1972, the Department of Mathematics was established and in the year 1982 Mathematics was started as a special subject at T.Y.B.Sc. level. M.Sc. Mathematics Curriculum was introduced in the Department from the year 2014. In the department presently U.G. and P.G. curriculum are conducted.

Presently there are 7 staff members in the Department, of which two are NET, SET qualified and five are M.Sc. In the Department, more emphasis is given on teaching, learning, and evaluation. Personal attention is paid to each student in the Department. Staff members of the Department actively participated in the curriculum development workshops organized from time to time.
