24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria
For Undergraduate students (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Lit, Students Etc), a minimum of 45% for BC, 43% for MBC, Others 50$ of marks in part III of their UG degree (for candidates who belong to SC/Sc Communities, a pass with 40%)
For post-graduate students (MA., M.Sc, MCA), a pass is sufficient.
Candidates with one major in UG/PG shall have to choose two optional among these should be their major subjects at the degree level, and the order English/Tamil (language optional)
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/UT Administration.
