About Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Pharmacy for Ladies, Pune
The Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Pharmacy for Ladies, Pune, a premier institution for pharmaceutical education for women, was established in the year 2004. Situated at Moshi Borhadewadi, Pune, this affiliated college is approved by PCI and accredited by NAAC. There are a total of 386 students, all females in this 4 acres campus. The institute offers five courses through 46 faculty members, generally specialised in the different aspects of the pharmacy-oriented degree programs.
The institution undertakes to provide the students with an environment so conducive to learning. The institute also offers a well-stocked library of over 4,586 books and 28 professional journals, including 6 international and 22 national publications. The campus has state-of-the-art laboratories to meet the practical exposure requirements of the course. The college didn't have a campus. The girl's hostel has been built. The furniture and all is good. The benches are very comfortable. The washrooms were not so hygienic. The canteen was big and the food especially idli sambhar was very tasty.
