Pub Majuli College, Majuli is one of the very prominent educational institutions. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fields such as Arts, Commerce, Computer Applications, and Education.

The admission procedure will be slanted towards merit, which will allow deserving candidates the opportunity to be able to study in the course of their choice. The intake of students depends on a highly broad approach with academic performance in qualifying examinations considered to be the main criteria for selection. 

Admission eligibility to Pub Majuli College depends on the program. For undergraduate programs, students have to pass the 10+2 course from a recognized board. For extending admission to postgraduate candidates, a bachelor's degree in the system is often required. The college also offers 11 courses across 7 degree programs, keeping in mind diverse academic interests and career aspirations.

1. Admission Notification: Notifications for admissions are published through the college official website and local newspapers.

2. Application Form: Interested candidates should collect the application form from the office of the college.

3. Form Filling: The candidates shall fill in the application form, providing their personal and academic details.

4. Submission of Required Documents: After duly filling the application form, the candidate must submit the form with the following documents:

   • Marksheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, or graduation as applicable)

   • Pass certificates

   • Character certificate from the last attended institution

   • Caste certificate (if applicable)

   • Three recent passport-size photographs

5. Submission of Application: The duly completed application forms and other necessary documents must be submitted to the office of the college before the prescribed date.

6. Merit List Preparation: The college prepares merit lists according to each program's criteria.

7. Counseling and Admission: The merit-listed candidates get called for counseling and can choose their preferred courses based on their merit ranking and availability of seats.

8. Payment of fees: The selected candidates will pay the admission fee within the specified period to confirm their seat.

• BA: Various BA program specializations are offered by Pub Majuli College. Admission to the BA program proceeds with consideration given to a candidate's 10+2 examination results. Aggregate on qualifying examination is considered for merit list preparation by the college.

• BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications program is open for application for candidates that have completed their 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject. The admission consideration may include marks given on Mathematics in combination with overall performance in the qualifying examination.

• B.Com: Admission to the Bachelor of Commerce program is open to students who have completed their 10+2 in Commerce or in any stream acceptable as equivalent. The selection will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination based more on subjects relevant to Commerce studies.

• BMC: The Bachelor of Mass Communication program admits students based on their performance in the 10+2 examination. The college may take into consideration the marks in English and any other relevant subjects for preparing the merit list.

• MA Programs: Pub Majuli College sends out an application for its Master of Arts in Assamese, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, and English. They can be entered based on having a bachelor's degree in the right subject or those closely related to it. Those being considered may include those who have strong marks in graduation, an entrance test, or an interview in certain situations.

• D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education program follows a certain admission procedure as per the norms. According to this policy, admission shall be in accordance with merit based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. The selection is undertaken following the guidelines of the State Government or UT Administration.
