B.Tech Computer and Communication Engineering at Punjab Institute of Technology, Nandgarh Offline Course

The Candidate Passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by the central/state government through legislation and a member of the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology / Electronics/Information Technology/Informatics Practices / Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship (Any of three) as per table 1.3 (a) of AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2022-23. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subject taken together. Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering)

Those candidates who have passed a minimum 3 years diploma examination from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education with at least 45% marks (40% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (The Universities will offer suitable Bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the Programme).

OR

The candidates who have passed two years’ certificate courses from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible. (ii) The candidates whose results are not declared/pending (due to whatsoever reason) in the qualifying examination, shall also be eligible to appear for counselling. The admission of such candidates shall be purely provisional and shall stand cancelled, if they fail to produce their eligibility at the time of admission and such candidates shall have no claim, whatsoever, for admission to these courses through Counselling.
