    Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Commerce is six years program offered by University of Mumbai, Mumbai.

    Ph.D. programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


    Eligibility Criteria

    A Persons having passed masters with minimum 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) are eligible for admission to the PhD Course.

    Admission Details

    Admission to the PhD degree programme shall be done through an entrance exam i.e. PET. Students who have passed NET/SET/ M.Phil./JRF Examination in the relevant subjects are exempted from the Entrance Test.

    Only those students who have passed the entrance test or who are exempted from entrance test shall appear for an interview to be organized by the College.
