Master of Science (M.Sc) in Medical-Surgical Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
Passed B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing degree or Post Certificate B.Sc Nursing of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other University expected as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining a B.Sc Nursing (Basic) in a Hospital or in a Nursing Educational Institution or Community Health setting. For the candidate with a basic B.Sc in Nursing degree, no such experience is needed after graduation.
Registered in the State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife /Psychiatric Nurse.
Admission Details
The selection shall be based on merit judged on the basis of the aggregate of marks obtained in the University examination in year to Final year Basic B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and marks obtained in the selection test.
