Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is a five-year full-time course, which includes 4 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship, offered by Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, and approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).


Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should have passed the PUC/10+2 or the Equivalent Exam.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the Entrance Test and Qualifying Examination. (With English as one subject) (40% - SC/ST/OBC)
  • 17th year on 31 Dec in the year of admission.

Admission Details

Admissions to both BDS programs are based on the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The admission process for these programs is facilitated through the counseling process conducted by the competent authority.
