Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing Jammu, was established in the year 2008 and is one of the leading self-financed nursing college. Established in Chak Bhalwal Gharota, Jammu and Kashmir, this is a co-educational college under an affiliation of INC. Situate on a 4-acre land, the college has enrolled 217 students to a variety of nursing programs that it presents. With a total faculty of 28 members, the student-teacher ratio is very comfortable, allowing the students to get that intimate level of education and personal attention. The college offers 7 programs in total and encompasses three levels of degree in nursing with different fields of concentration.

Nursing, which starts 60 students, and the Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing, which takes 40 students. Others are M.Sc. Nursing, G.N.M. (General Nursing and Midwifery), Diploma in Medical Pharmacist, Diploma in Medical Assistant, and MPHW (Multi Purpose Health Worker). Admission in most courses is through counseling with the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) for Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing. For B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing programs in English, the students are selected through an entrance examination conducted by BOPEE. Even the admissions for the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing have a similar system.
