Ramadevi Mahila Teacher Training College, Jhunjhunu Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has an excellent hostel for girls within the campus. All rooms are double-seated and well furnished with inbuilt beds, mattresses, tables, and chairs. Students of all disciplines share space and live together in the hostel, providing an excellent environment conducive to living, learning, and growing to one’s fullest potential, offering adequate comforts with cost-effective living for strengthening socialization at all levels. The hostel rooms have shared common room facilities, having regular, uninterrupted electric supply supplemented by power backup through its own high-power generators, an abundant supply of hot and cold water, a dining hall, and an entertainment room. The borders are shown a movie on the weekend, and for their entertainment, a TV set along with a TATA SKY dish and DVD players are placed in the common room under the supervision of a resident warden who maintains medical, academic, and personal progress records of the individual border.

The college library has a collection of books on all subjects, journals, periodicals, Magazines, and newspapers. Apart from academic books, books of general interest are also a part of the collection. The library has 7120 textbooks and 1500 reference books, 13 Magazines and Periodicals, and 4 Newspapers. The library covers 1746 sq ft. Area. It is very spacious, airy, and well-furnished. The Library also has 14 journals, including 13 Indian and 1 foreign journal. There are 3 back volumes of journals and 1 Peer-reviewed journal.

The college has On-campus. Students have the opportunity to utilize various sports facilities like Volleyball, Badminton, table tennis, handball, softball, 100m, 200m, the track, kho-kho, Kabaddi, carom, chess, and a swimming pool.

The college has a Computer Lab: The computer center of the college is matchless. It is well-equipped with modern hardware and software. There are 40 computers, including Pentium III and Pentium IV, in the computer lab. Broadband Internet facility is also an addition to this section.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a Multipurpose Hall: Various literary activities like debate competitions, essay competitions, quiz competitions are organized in the multipurpose hall, which has a seating capacity of more than 250 persons.

The college provides a bus facility for day scholars from all parts of the surrounding areas.

The college has a Psychology Lab: The Psychology Laboratory consists of some Psychology instruments and all the basic materials, such as the Sequin Form Board Test, Galeton Bar Apparatus, Color Presence Apparatus, Human Maze Pointed (Elect.), Steadiness tests (Elect.) Attention Board Elect., Mirror Drawing Apparatus, Adolescent Adjusting scale, etc. 

Educational Technology Lab: The educational technology laboratory of the institution is well-modernized with apparatus and facilities, like an LCD Projector and an OHP.TV, VCD, and Public address system, etc. 

Home-Science Lab: The Home-Science Lab is also like other labs, well equipped with sufficient instruments like Dinner-set, glass set, Tea-Set, Kukar, Oven, Spoon-Stand, Mixture-Grinder, Bowls, Jug, Non-Stick, Tawa, Tray, Karachi, Gas-Chula (Cylinder), Swing-Machine, Freeze, Table-Mates, etc. 

Science Lab: Separate Chemistry and Biology laboratories are made available by the institution to develop better practical skills in student teachers. The laboratories are fully equipped.
