66 MonthsThe duration of the B.V.Sc. and A.H degree courses is spread over five and half complete professional years including a compulsory rotating internship of one-year duration. Course Offered by Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate from any recognized board of India.
- Some universities and colleges conduct entrance exams for the candidates to be eligible for the course.
- Eligibility to most veterinary colleges and universities is based on marks secured in the entrance examinations conducted by the respective universities and colleges.
- Some students who have passed their 10+2 in zoology are also eligible to join veterinary colleges as lateral entry students.
Admission Details
- Entrance: Candidates are shortlisted based on the entrance examinations conducted by the different colleges and universities. Scores in these entrance exams and Class XII percentage are considered during the BVSC admission. To gain admission to the BVSC program, the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) conducts the All India Common Entrance Exam (AICEE).
- Merit: Candidates are shortlisted through institutional qualifying exams, group discussions, and personal interviews. Some universities and colleges generate their cut-off list, and if candidates have fulfilled that criterion then are eligible to be admitted to the BVSC program
