Rathna College of Nursing, Hassan, was started in 2003 and is one of the most feasible nursing colleges in Karnataka, India. This is a co-educational college situated in 3rd Cross, K.R.Puram, Hassan, and affiliated with the D.H.S. Kuvempu University Shimoga. It has been approved under the affiliation model by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The campus occupies 2 acres of land and gives all learners the best environment for their learning, training, and skill practice. The college has 257 students and 33 teaching faculty; thus, the student-teacher ratio is good, which means that our students will receive the attention they deserve and quality education.

Rathna College of Nursing has a host of facilities that aim at improving the teaching and learning facilities as well as the learning abilities of the students. The library, an important centre of academic materials, is well furnished with all necessary books, journals, and newspapers for the students to study. In their capacity as practical training facilities, the college has well-equipped, ample laboratories manned by qualified personnel. The campus is equipped with separate hostels for boys and girls; the rooms are spacious and equipped with all the essentials, as well as a secure environment at this level 24/7. 

The college cafeteria provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food articles in a clean environment. There is also an IT infrastructure, transportation services, and an available auditorium for use on occasions such as seminars.

Rathna College of Nursing offers two full-time nursing programmes: B.Sc Nursing an undergraduate course of four years, and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing for two years. Since both programmes are approved, only 40 intakes for each and both of them in every academic year, the institution is offering 80 seats.
