36 MonthsGeneral Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by Karnataka State Nursing Council, Bengaluru, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- 10+2 with English: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 40% in the qualifying examination. English must have been passed from a recognized board.
- Candidates from the State Open School, recognized by the State Government, and from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), recognized by the Central Government, are also eligible.
- A background in Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English: Candidates must have obtained 40% marks in the vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- 10+2 with English: Candidates must have obtained 40% marks in the Vocational Stream - Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE board or Center.
- Medical Fitness: Students must be medically fit for admission.
- Age Requirement:
- The minimum age for admission is 17 years (as of 31st December of the year of admission).
- The upper age limit is 35 years.
- There is no age limit for candidates applying for ANM or LHV courses.
