24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
Eligibility Criteria
The pass marks in each course shall be 35% and 40% in aggregate. The successful candidates shall be classified in three divisions.
1st Division: Those who obtain 60% or more of aggregate marks. A candidate Obtaining 75% or more marks in aggregate or individual course shall be shown to have passed the examination with distinction.
2nd Division: Those who obtain 50% or more but less than 60% or aggregate marks.
3rd Division: Those obtain 40% or more but less than 50% of aggregate marks.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/U.T. Administration and the University.
