Well according to last year's cutoff and a general criteria for BAMS colleges :

420+can get you a government seat

360+can get you a semi government seat

119-280 can get you a private seat

The scores may vary for different institutions. But you have a score of 497

As per a simple criteria, BAMS colleges are given on cutoff as

420+can get into a government college 

360+can get into a semi government college 

119-280 private college. 

Well this may vary depending upon the no. Of seats and institutions. 

Also some institutes held their own entrance exams.

The expected cut off for BAMS and BHMS is minimum 490+ dear for general category for getting admission in govt. BAMS and BHMS medical college. Sorry to say but you have scored less marks in comparision.

According to previous year cutoff,For general category, in government and semi government colleges, the BAMS cutoff is around 400.

Private colleges may go down to a range of 300.

Hence, it might be a bit difficult to get BAMS. However, you can try through management quota.

• The government colleges have a cutoff of around 425-430 for general category and 400 for reserved candidates.There are reservations for domicile students based upon state quota cutoffs.
• Now for the private colleges
