RIE Ajmer Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The hostel rooms are furnished with beds, tables, chairs, fans, and electrical fixtures. Each hostel has a kitchen, a dining hall, recreation, and a common room with the facilities of T.V. For this purpose there are five hostels. The rooms are used to accommodate both the regular students and the participants coming to the RIE to attend the various extension programs.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. Regional Institute of Education has got one Dispensary, running under the charge of a Medical Officer, for providing medical facilities to the students and members of RIE, Ajmer.  

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a well-equipped and well-managed Library and Documentation Centre. The library serves as a resource center to meet the information needs of faculty members, staff, students, research scholars of the Institute, and members of staff at Demonstration Multipurpose School RIE Ajmer. It has over 87,000 documents covering various disciplines. The main collection of the library is in the fields of School Education, Teacher Education, Science Education, Social Science Education, and Language Education. The collection of the Library comprises Books, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Atlases, Maps, Back Volumes of Journals, Annual Reports, Yearbooks, Conference proceedings, Educational Surveys and reports, M.Ed. dissertations, and NCERT publications. The Institute also subscribes to several national and international journals.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Physical recreation through games and sports has been an important part of the Institute since its inception. Games like football, cricket, badminton, and tennis. Today, the Institute has some of the best facilities in a number of games and sports and awards proficiencies in 10 games. The tradition continues, as students of the institute keep making use of the marvelous sports facilities to excel in sports and games. In order to motivate the students and to get them interested in sports.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The Computer Centre is comprised of two labs. It has to have 50 PCs fully loaded with all essential software and internet connectivity.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The college canteen is being maintained by Mr.Pradeep and he is keeping a clean environment and serving delicious food as customer want. "All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast".

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members. A Guest House having six double-seated rooms has been newly constructed at the campus. Each of the rooms has an attached toilet with a hot and cold water facility. All rooms are serviced by an emergency generator set. All AC rooms and Suites are also provided with color televisions with cable connections. It also has a well-equipped seminar room to facilitate the organization of different activities and programs of the institute.

RIEA has FiveSmart Class Room fully equipped with a public address system, LCD projectors playback /recording facilities for audio/video in real-time.

The college has a There is one bank on campus the State Bank of India (S.B.I.). The bank provides Centralized Banking Services, Internet Banking, and ATM facilities. The bank iscorner located, near the post office. The A.T.M. of S.B.I. is on-campus- near the bank branch. Apart from these, many banks have branches and A.T.M. facilities in the town, that is, off-campus.
