Master of Science Education (M.Sc.Ed) in Chemistry is a Six-year full-time postgraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by the University of Mysore, Mysore.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the M.Sc.Ed. A chemistry course should have been passed the CBSE Senior Secondary examination/ Pre-University examination of Karnataka or an equivalent examination recognised by the University of Mysore with 45% marks in aggregate. Relaxation of up to 5% of marks shall be given to the SC/ST candidates.
Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with the following combinations of subjects. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and any other subject.
Admission shall be regulated through selection based on marks in the qualifying examination or performance in a specially designed selection test or both. The selection test shall consist of Multiple questions with equal weightage to the three content areas of the combination of subjects at the PUC/CBSE level. Admission shall be as per the prevalent admission policies of NCERT. It will also be governed by the reservation policies of the Government of India as prevalent at the time of admission.
The Institutions other than RIE Mysore, offering the course, shall follow the admission rules of Post-Graduate Courses of the University of Mysore.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is great and all the facilities are provided. All minimum facilities are provided minimum. And it is large campus with good infrastructure. The campus of fully lushed with greenary.The lab classroom have enough space and good equipments. The campus is clean and food is to adjust as it is not that good nd hygienic.
