As this is open distant learning programme. So I can't day anything about infrastructure. Infrastructure wise like how do I say it because I never had any experience of college life. My study Centre is nice btw.
Academics
Again It's ODL, they do not pay much attention to it. Because I hadn't attended any class. They attend few online classes although but how is that going to compensate things. They only pay attention to examinations.
Placements
No idea. I actually had no idea about it. But as I had heard from my seniors there is no placements like facility. Student do their courses from IGNOU mostly because most of them are preparing for few government exams.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai has one of the most impressive campuses I've seen among private engineering colleges in India. The classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards and projectors, and the laboratories have modern equipment that is regularly maintained. The Wi-Fi connectivity across campus is decent, though it can get slow during peak hours in the hostels. I pursued my B.Tech in Computer Science at SRM Chennai and the academic experience was quite solid overall. The faculty includes a good mix of experienced professors and industry professionals who bring real-world perspective into the classroom. The curriculum is regularly updated and covers emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and cloud computing alongside core subjects. There are plenty of opportunities to work on projects, publish papers, and participate in hackathons. The internal assessment system is transparent and fair. The only thing I'd say is that students need to be self-driven — the college provides the platform, but you have to make the most of it yourself.
Placements
Placements at SRM Chennai are genuinely good, especially for Computer Science and IT branches. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and several mid-sized startups visit campus every year. The placement cell is active and conducts regular mock interviews, aptitude training, and resume workshops from the third year itself. In our batch, around 80–85% of eligible students were placed, with the highest salary package going above 40 LPA for a CSE student placed at a product-based company. Average salary for our branch was around 5–7 LPA. The process was smooth and well-organized. Students from core branches like Mechanical and Civil may find fewer on-campus opportunities, so they need to be more proactive

Its a liberal arts college and the acads are as such . Very flexible but rigourous. I am doing my mba right now now . The teachers and the quality of teaching is pretty good. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect the changing times ,methodologies and advent of new technologies with intgrated feedbacks from students and faculty.

Since its a relatively new college the placement quality can definately improve . college has a good placement rate for people opting in and average is around 10 lakh after mba. I havent gone thru the process because i finished my first year but according to seniors its not complex or unpleasant .

Nearly all sports available , something or the other cocurricular keeps happening- events ,fests ,competitions ,olympiads . Location is on a hill a lil away from city so that might be the only problem - going to the city takes some travel but campus has a shuttle service and buses leave almsot every hour and carry you to and fro.
