I pursued a BTech in Compute Science and Engineering. The curriculum covers the core subjects and includes some updated topics, but the teaching quality varies across faculty members. While the academics provides a good foundation. Students need to put in additional efforts through self learning and projects to become industry ready.

The placement opportunities are average, with around 45-50% of students getting placed. The placement process is generally smooth, but students often needs to put in efforts on their own to secure good opportunities. The college provides placement support, though there is room for improvement in attracting more quality recruiters and enhancing industry connection. The average salary offered is around 2.2 Lakh CTC per annum, The highest package was around 66 Lakh Per Annum which was off campus recruitment of a boy of MBA department.

The infrastructure is okay it is not not so good not so bad. Just Average. The washrooms are not so good. The labs are good but only the new ones. Old labs have bad and outdated PCs. Electricity cuts are constant in summers.

The academics are also average. Some teachers are good and some teachers are just there for their money and computer work. I am doing Btech in CSE and I feel the teaching is okay. There are some good teachers but not more than that.

The placements are bad. You will face discrimination when compared to students of OIST. You need a good CGPA to just be able to sit for the placements there are many filters. Don't expect easy on campus placements

The campus life is good I would say. There are clubs where you can get into. You can get into SAC or NSS. The infrastructure is good, many events are organised so you will be able to enjoy your time. The fests are also fun.

My university has good classrooms, neat and clean environment friendly campus, very good hostel to make thousand of memories and good sports facilities. I have done Btech from Food Engineering and technology from this university in 2023. The professor of my department are very polite and good experience and knowledge of their field. The course structure is also good from my point of view.

Placement is not good in my university. Some departments like CSE and MBA department have good Placement but my department food engineering have not good Placement. But if you are hard worker then you can get the Placement.

Campus life at my university was excellent, especially hostel life. It was an experience that I will always cherish and remember. The campus of Tezpur University is beautiful, with a peaceful and green environment.
