The basic eligibility criteria of our college admission was minimum 60℅ in 12th standard and 70% marks in Bengali (for B.A Bengali). Syllabus of BA bengali was quite tough in our time. Literature, bengali grammar and novels were in our syllabus.

Placement was really very moderate after completing graduation from Serampore college. I got a job in primary school as a teacher. Also some my batchmates about 40℅ got job in small coaching center and t some friend got job in school, college as a teacher.
