Infrastructure is almost good. There are every facilities you need here. All the electronics work very well but some ACs in the classrooms donot. But whatever it is very good and neat infrastructure here.

Academics are good but it could be more better. Lectureres teach really good but it could be more better if they teach in a good way and they also guide us for anything we ask. They are very friendly and good academics are there.

Average placements but better than other colleges.Placements are wise and average now once it had really good placements. Even now it has good placements but that donot reach our expectations. They will be satisfied.

While some theoretical subjects could be streamlined, the practical assignments definitely help prepare students for corporate environments.

Placements for the MBA program are moderate and depend heavily on individual student skills. Reputed mid-tier companies visit the campus, offering roles mainly in business development, sales execution, and human resource management. The average placement package remains around 3–5 LPA, which is decent but has room for improvement. While the placement team is helpful in organizing mock interviews, the availability of high-paying core consulting or analytics roles is quite limited.

Old buildings and labs need renovation and better instruments. Upgrading these buildings better equipments will help students in getting more interested for their practical lab sessions. The newly constructed blocks are much more well maintained with neccesary amenities.

I am pursuing btech in electrical engineering due to my intrests in power systems and electrical machines. The quality of teaching is satisfactory, but the curriculum needs regular updation. There should be more practical sessions, industry oriented projects and exposure to real world applications would make students job-ready.
Placements
The placements oppurtunities are great, especially in IT and software roles compared to core electrical. Only few core companies visit the campus. Highest salary package is usually offered by tech companies.

One of the best features is the wide range of students clubs and socities, technical socities and non techinal (music, drama,entrepreneurship, etc.). These organizations give students oppurtunities to develop practical skills, leadership qualities and confidence beyond classroom.

Overall my experience at the college has been positive. The college has strong potential and has made progress in improving its infrastructure and facilities. However, further updates in the curriculum with more practical and industry oriented learning, increased core industry collaborations would significantly enhance the overall student experience.

I am studying B.A History honours in Vidyasagar college. Modern European History, ancient Indian History, Harappan Civilization and Sindhu Civilization are the main fundamental parts in our syllabus. Professors are very very helpful and well educated.

Placement of vidyasagar college is truly moderate. After completing graduation some of our seniors got a job in small private coaching centres & some other seniors preparing for WBCS or other competative exams.

The quality of placements is pretty good when compared to all the different nearby colleges and institutions..almost. 50 percentage students were placed.. highest was 24LPA ..it went to a student studying in CSE

The campus is huge and wide.. its best features are its very peaceful and calm to walk and campus looks and feel good when it rains but the worst feature is not having a proper bus facility and a proper bus incharge ..buses are there but are not managed..every staff feel friendly but students are a bit ok..yes it is safe

The old building was of course old. It was like an old government office with broken furniture and cracked walls but it was manageable. This year, they open the new building which is much bigger and better. It's a much needed upgrade.

Despite being one of the low tier colleges of Delhi University. I would say the curriculum is average. It's very helpful for people who are focused on prep for competitive exams and sports. But purely from an educational view point..it's only average.

I haven't heard many stories about placements though our college has a placement cell I don't know how all that works out. There's more opportunities for science students than students pursuing commerce and fine arts.

Campus is chill. Places to sit down and hang out are many. Although the canteen food could be much better and can have items from other cultures too. It's peaceful everywhere..mostly. The ground could also be better.
