I am currently pursuing BCOM HONS here. The quality of teaching is good according to the current teaching staff. The curriculum got updated as per the NEP but we won’t be completely job ready by what we have been taught

The placement is average to be honest. Hence students prefer off-campus placements. The average package is provably 8-10LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. This was offered to a student from BCOM in D.E Shaw Company.

RIE, BBSR is an old and reputed government institute. It is true that it's equipped with modern tech such as smart boards and different laboratories, resource rooms etc. It also has a well equipped and well furnished auditorium with comfortable seats and sound system. It also includes various conference rooms/hall which are well furnished and cater to the modern needs as well. The library of the institute is one of the best part with great collection of books. However the classrooms are not at par. The fans are as old as the institute with bent blades, half of them don't even function well. The bench and tables used are old and really uncomfortable for two students to sit together. In summer it becomes unbearable to attend classes. Although the canteen is good and provides good quality food, the hygiene can be improved. The overall cleanliness of the classrooms can be improved.

I am a student of integrated BAB.Ed program, and am currently in 3rd year. The professors are good, most of them are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly with education from reputed universities of the country. Apart from classroom teaching, the practical approaches such as student presentation, students taking classes etc are also focused upon. Exposure programs such as multi cultural, working with community and internship help the students a lot to gain experience and be prepared for real life scenarios. The curriculum is updated and includes all the latest developments in the field of education. Regular workshops and talks are organised along with the training of teachers. It keeps the students and teachers well equipped with knowledge and the current developments. As a professional course, this program prepares the students for job. After the end of 4 years, many students even get jobs through campus placements.

At the end of the courses, many schools from the state and even outside of Odisha come to take part in the campus placement. Many vacancies are to be filled in so there is no limitation of jobs for the students. Rigorous interview and practical checking are done for selecting the candidates. Although not all students take part in the placement, but out of the students who take part, a good number of students crack the interview and get the jobs. Pre-placement conference are also held by the college to prepare the students for the DOs and DON'Ts, the college is very supportive.

The college campus is very green, one of the most environment friendly campus. It has various sports ground and courts along with dispensary. Students can also engage in various club activities. There is also a botanical garden. The students coming from different states can have their differences leading to groupism. Teachers and support staffs are friendly and good. It is located in one of the prime locations of the capital city. Located in Acharya Vihar, it has access to all services. Nearby hospitals are police station is also there to handle emergencies.

Hostel facilities are good. Its two shared bedrooms with attached bathroom and the fee is around 1.2 lakh per year including mess fee, rent, and maintenance fee. You have to deposit Rs 20,000 in the beginning. Meal quantity is very sufficient and the menu is flexible since it's a South Indian-oriented kitchen. For washing clothes, washing machines are there. All are selected and good faculty members. They give good education, and they support students in everything and exam time. They give more focus, and they provide more question papers. They do class tests so that we are confident to write exams. All faculty members make our exams very easy and clear. There will be one faculty member for six students. The ratio of faculty members and students in our college is 1:6.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment, but it is a small campus consisting of a three-floor building, where the 1st and 2nd floors are used for classes of BCom and BBA.

All the faculty members are friendly and make sure the class is engaging. The syllabus is also up to date, including the recent NEP 2020 curriculum. Teachers are good at communicating and making sure students are thorough with their subjects.

Few companies have signed with our college, like D.E. Shaw, Dabur, IndusInd Bank, Mahindra Bank, and recently Integreon. I was there at the event where it happened so overall the placements opportunities are decent. The highest package that has been offered was 21.5 lakhs by D.E. Shaw.

Campus life i also decent, there are events organized very frequently, and they have their biggest event- Genesis. InkImpact 2024 was the event that was organized for the first time since the birth of this college and it was even a bigger event than Genesis. it is located in the heart of the city, i.e. Nayapalli area so easier access to the market area.

Infrastructure is good . A student can enjoy after the lecture ends . There is facility of drinking water all over the campus. Classrooms are also good but can be more better . For hygiene of canteens I'll give 10 out of 5.

My course is B.COM Regular . I would say that not every facility is good but some professor are soo good that they really wants want to give lecture but most of them are like lazy peoples and does not even talk properly to students.

For Placement my university is not good. From 2023 when I got admission the highest package I have noted is 5.5 lpa and minimum 2.5 lpa. My college is for environment not for taking placement. If student is dreaming of good placement then I will not prefer Lucknow University.
