One of the major benefits of this college is that the teachers are qualified, knowledgeable and very helpful. All the teachers are very friendly and always there to help students. Most of the professor teach with real-life examples.

Placement opportunities of my college is not good, that no company has ever visited in the college for placements instead they organised placement events in other colleges, So this was the main problem in college.

There are 3 labs in our department, and each lab has very good equipment. All the lab faculty members are well-educated and know how to teach students. Wi-Fi facility is also available. In the hostel, food quality is good, but the vegetables are not well-cooked. Wi-Fi is also available in the hostel. Canteen is also available for 24x7, and all the sports facility is also available.

All faculty members in our college are well-qualified, well-educated and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. But this course does not make students industry-ready because the study syllabus is according to the university. The university must try to modify the syllabus so that it helps students to make themselves industry-ready. All the faculty members must try to aware students about industry life. Our college must plan some industrial visit regularly so that students can understand their weakness and try themselves to remove it.

Maximum 80% of the students are placed in our batch. The maximum salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Pyramid and Chegg India are the top recruiting companies of our college. Students are offered with subject matter expert and technical support roles. Most of the students did their training but not in a company as there is no company near our college. But all the students try hard to train themself.

Companies do visit the college to hire students, but they come to know that there are many students and leave to other colleges. I'm pursuing BA Hons Philosophy and we have one of the best faculty in India for Philosophy. The DU curriculum is followed in Hansraj College which is a standard for UGC. For my syllabus they offer books and readings from other universities aswell like stanford and Cornell.

Pretty good compared to other colleges and a very active Placement cell. We also have more non STEM students being placed. You get regular updates on availability of internships and jobs placement for senior years.

I have pursued my bachelor degree of education from here as this is solely for B.ED and the course curriculum is updated and the quality of teaching is very good. The admission took place through entrance exam conducted by Assam University as it is affiliated to it.

Placement opportunities are not very formalized and the college has poor connections with big schools but the teachers do inform for various opportunities or teachers posts if any vacant. The internship is good you will learn practical teaching experience. So direct placements is not something you would find great.
