Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Data Science is a four-year full-time undergraduate program approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR CATEGORY - A

must have passed the intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the JNTUH as equivalent thereto.
shall have to qualify in the EAMCET examination conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR CATEGORY - B

A candidate for admission to the first year of 4-year B.Tech. degree programme under Category-B must have secured 60% of marks in the intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the JNTUH as equivalent thereto.

Admission Details

70% of intake i.e., “Category-A Seats” will be filled by the Convener, TSEAMCET based on the merit rank obtained in state level entrance examination-TSEAMCET.
30% of intake i.e., “Category-B Seats” will be filled by the college management as per the relevant rules of Government and norms/guidelines of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education from time to time.
Spot Admission for B.Tech. 4-year Course: Any seats left vacant in the convener quota, will be filled by the college based on the guidelines given by Convener TSEAMCET. The College issues an advertisement after necessary approval from Convener and the list of admitted candidates will be forwarded to Convener for ratification/approval.

As a student of Sphoorthy Engineering College and am thoroughly impressed by its infrastructure The college boasts state-of-the-art facilities that are conducive to learning. From well-equipped laboratories to spacious classroom. Each department is provided with OHPs, computers, demonstration models, LCD projector etc to enhance the quality of teaching and communication. Each department has seminar halls and college has well-maintained cafeteria. I want to mention a remarkable resource that has revolutionized our learning experience here at Sphoorthy Engineering College is the Apple Lab. The college provides a special amenity for girl and lady faculty. The college is furnished with ladies wating hall in every block. The College has a state-of-art indoor sports room for chess and table tennis. The College also has a Cricket cum football field. The college maintains different courts for Badminton, Basket Ball, Volley Ball. It has beach volley ball court which gives real beach experience. For proper training and grooming of players the College provides coaching facilities to the players for different games.

Yes, the college brings a lot of confidence in students to focus and discover on new things, college also helps in overall development of student, also turns the student to do more hard work without any difficulty, and facilities in classrooms, it is a place where we study and enjoy, we will get fresh air, peaceful weather, ventilation, board visibility, adequate space, our living spaces are very clean with greenery everywhere, the food is too good
