Assam down town University-an experience
College Infrastructure
AdtU does have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities you can ask for from an university. All the labs are well equipped and functioning. The campus is also quite big and well maintained, the washrooms are clean and the cafeteria food is also not great but its good. All the classrooms in the university have a smart board and they are well maintained and works perfectly okay. All the labs are well equipped and maintained. Each department gets at least one lab to just themselves. The library is also big and contains a lot of books for each department and according to your need you can find a book that you need. The college has courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, cricket and football so it you are a sports enthusiast you can come to the university and play any sport you want. i don't live in the hostel so i cant comment on that. And yes the college campus is very clean and food is also hygienic. Here, you'll see someone cleaning and mopping the floors anywhere you go at all times.
Academics
I'm studying forensic science because I've always been interested in forensic science as a subject. The quality of teaching is good, all the faculties are experienced and knowledgeable in their own fields. The curriculum is updated and all the recent developments are included even just a theoretical concept the try to teach us about new machines and techniques that are being developed and i don't think what i study makes us job-ready. you need to an internship of some kind to increase your hands on experience.
Placements
i don't really have much knowledge about placements but if you are from B.Tech or MBA you get really good placements with high salary packages. The highest salary package offered that i'm aware of is 12-14 LPA and it was to a MBA student.
Campus Life
The college campus is not hugeee but it is big enough. there are different blocks named after the alphabets A through L. Out of these A,B,C,J and L are academic blocks where classes are conducted. Others include hostels, teachers quarters, and sports buildings. There is an amphitheater where the students can hangout. The students are chill but you may face some problems with the faculty if you're from outside of assam cause some teachers randomly switch to assamese in the middle of the lecture. The location is on the outskirts of guwahati so its pretty safe around the university where a lot of people stay but if you're staying a bit far in remote areas we can't be so sure.
it's a nice experience
College Infrastructure
The college has a really nice infrastructure and a good overall vibe — the classrooms and common areas are well-maintained. But honestly, some parts have been under construction for almost two years now, which can get a bit annoying. Also, the canteen isn’t that great; the food options and quality could definitely be improved. Still, once the construction work is done, the campus will look and feel much better.
Academics
The teaching quality here is pretty good — most teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful, though everyone has their own style of teaching. Our college is rightly known for its commerce courses, and the learning environment is quite supportive.
Placements
Placements at our college are decent, especially for commerce students. Big companies do visit, and there are good opportunities in finance, marketing, and consulting. But the ground reality is that only the top-performing students usually get the best offers while the average packages aren’t that high. You really need to be proactive , build your resume, join societies, and gain experience to stand out. The placement cell is supportive and puts in effort, but there’s still room to bring in more companies and improve overall opportunities.
Campus Life
Campus life at is decent and has a friendly, welcoming vibe. There are a few active societies and clubs, but honestly, the number of events is on the lower side compared to some other DU colleges. Still, whatever events do happen like fests and competitions are well-organized and fun. The crowd is nice and easygoing, and the location is fairly safe and convenient, with good metro connectivity. You just need to stay a bit cautious late in the evening, like anywhere in Delhi, but overall it feels comfortable and secure
The experience is good and very unique
College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is good not that bad and trying to make it better too, all the basic facilities are good with good quality and sufficient and the college is morning and evening too so there is fuller utilisation resources
Academics
Quality of education is superb but why I am giving four star is because of the attitude and rudeness of teacher but the education quality is one of the best in india and the alumni network is one of the best
Placements
I don't know that much about the placement as first year but I listened it that it is good. And alumni network is good and the placement society is great and they are helpful Even after you graduates.
Campus Life
The alumni network and campus is best and superb
Anything Else
Everything about the college is good except the rudeness of the administration
Only the campus is good.
College Infrastructure
Good infrastructure, and our college is one building in a huge campus with other colleges like the vesit, pharmacy college, etc. small canteen is there. Hostel is there but it's expensive so very few seats.
Academics
Few faculties are not good but some are fantastic, subjects are engaging and understandable. The college is providing good qualities of workshops on topics like excel, power bi, etc for free by seniors.
Placements
As I'm first year student, I have heard from my seniors that the placement is average, not a lot of companies are coming into the campus. College website says that placement is around 6 lakh per annum for mms course.

It's an average college, not worth it.
College Infrastructure
College building was average, the canteen is bad with food as well as cleanliness. The campus was very small. There was no hostels available. Classrooms were not equipped with modern facilities like digital smartboards, ac, etc.
Academics
The events related to coursework and our curriculum were not there at all. We only studied from books no industry exposure was there. Teaching faculty was not giving us any assignments etc, teaching was also average.
Placements
In my college there is an mba batch also but no placement committee for any batches in the college, no company recruitment from our college. No opportunity to do internships as well from the college side.
Average college experience
College Infrastructure
Campus is good as in every facility for students is available. Ac and wifi is available. Canteen food is great but it has small sitting space and workers are rude. Library is nice and we have conference room for group discussion.
Academics
I like the mms course curriculum. I like the practical teaching methods of some teachers who make us do groups discussion and presentations. Some teachers are very helpful. We have great workshops that are industry releva.
Placements
We have placement committee but don’t know much about placements right now because I’m a first year student. I have heard from seniors that many big companies come for placements. Also heard that final placements are between 4-5 lakhs per annum.
Worst place
College Infrastructure
Very poorly maintained buildings and classes. No proper facility of any basic amenities. No space for any other extra curricular activities and doesn't even hold well set-up labs. Lack of hygiene in washrooms.
Academics
The professors there don't hold professionalism. Very ill mannered and doesn't even know how to talk. They act like underworld mafias with excessive amount of attitude. You cannot expect even a basic procedure to be done smoothly.
Placements
Placements here is a rare scenario with very few getting decent jobs. It's completely vague and unpredictable. Choosing this college is a mistake in itself and expecting a placement in next. You need do higher studies from some reputed college.
