Hostel rooms are good and well maintained, but the rules are not so good. The labs are average, and the infrastructure is good, I'll say, like a library, basketball court, etc. The mess is decent, the food is eatable, unlike other hostel messes. We have a health care centre which, honestly, no one likes, it is not very useful.
Academics
Faculty members are like other colleges, decent, and some are very good, some are very bad. It depends on you whether you want to study or not. The teachers are not so good, I'll say, but some are very good if you get to them. Try not to take blacklisted faculty members, and also very good one because blacklisted faculty will not give you any marks and faculty who are very good will have toppers in their class.

As a fresher, I don't know much about placements yet, but I chose this college because I had heard about its placements. But what I know is that placements are good. There is also news that the highest on-campus placement was 7- 12 LPA last semester, and an off-campus placement was about 20LPA don't know whether it's true or a rumor, but some seniors told us.

The placement situation at KIET is pretty Awesome for MBA students.The training and placement cell is quite actively trying to get companies on campus. Companies like Genpact and Infosys do visit for recruitment,and the Average package is lies between 3-5 LPA,while the maximum goes upto 14 LPA.

The facilities and infrastructure of our department are quite well and advanced. We have AI and data science labs to create own our basic AI model. The Wi-Fi speed will beat the 40-35 average, the highest is 100 Mbps and the lowest is 20 Mbps. Quality of hostel and food everything is quite well.

All faculty members got a Ph.D. in fine colleges and universities. They are super excited to have a chat or a lecture with us and share their knowledge and experiences with the students here. Most importantly they are super friendly and we the students will be ready for the outside world.

85% of students in the 2020-2024 batch are placed and still the placements are going on. The highest package is 47 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average salary is 12 LPA. Top companies are TCS, Hitachi, and other companies like IBM, etc.

The campus is also super secure. There's just a couple of things that could be better, like the Wi-Fi and food options. But overall, it's a fantastic place to learn and grow.

Some of the companies that come to visit are Can Technologies, Softel Systems, SkyNet IT Services, and Infocrest Solutions. I personally got selected in Can Technologies as a Web Developer, which was a wonderful chance to start my career.
