honestly the placement at Tripura University are okay but not that great. most placement depend on your department and your own skills, a few local companies and startups come for campus drives, but the packages are usually on the lower side.

Maharaja Bir Bikram College has a great infrastructure. Classrooms are too big and well maintained. There are enough facilities and equipment available for good study for students and faculties. The infrastructure of NIT Agartala is good and huge. The campus is really nice place to study and chill. Classrooms are also okay some classrooms have projectors. labs are also very good, equipped with the required instruments even though not every equipments are new. Hostels are also average, not too good but manageable. There is a gym and few canteens. The infrastructure is good enough, just needs better maintenance here and there.

Quality of education is decent but not really perfect. The professors are good but teaching quality depends on who's taking the class because some teachers explain concepts clearly and very supportive while others just stick to notes only. Overall the academic experience is fine.

placement is also okay for IT branches. placement are good if you are skilled and consistent and dedicated because what matters most is your skill, as NIT Agartala is tier 2 college the placement rate is decent. Off campus options are also common among students.

Since I am a 1st year student so I don't have much information about the placement but as per the previous year states provided by NIT Durgapur , the placements are much decent like other NITs and sometime it may varies also .

The hostel fees is 14500 per year as the price is quite affordable for per year for that it's a value for money but it's also give us over protection due to which sometime we feel embarrassed and feel like we are staying within a jail .
