Placements at my college are decent, especially in IT companies. The placement team arranges soft skills training, coding practice, and interview sessions to prepare students. Recruiters such as Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and Accenture are regular visitors. The average package is usually between ₹3–3.5 LPA, with a few students securing offers up to ₹6 LPA. Internships are provided, which help in gaining real-world experience.

About 80 to 85% of students from our batch found jobs, while some chose to pursue higher studies and research opportunities. Top recruiters included Infoedge, Tech Mahindra, Zycus, Tavant Technologies, Motherson Sumi, Sopra Steria, QA Infotech, Policybazaar, Paytm, and Gemini Solutions.

Companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Byju’s, Tech Mahindra, and Sopra Steria visited the campus and offered good roles in software development, system analysis, and business solutions.

Teachers in my Department are supportive and approachable. Most of them are highly qualified and try to explain topics in a way that students can easily grasp. They give equal importance to academics and practical knowledge, often guiding students in small projects and research work. Faculty members are available even outside class hours to solve doubts, which helps students feel more confident. They also motivate students to take part in competitions, paper presentations, and extra learning activities.

In my College Placement department is active and provides career guidance from early semesters. Training sessions in aptitude, reasoning, group discussions, and communication skills are conducted regularly. IT companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant visit the campus every year, along with some core recruiters for engineering branches. The average package is around ₹3.5 LPA, while the highest packages have crossed ₹6 LPA in recent years. Internships are also encouraged, giving students exposure before graduation.

The infrastructure at MSU is average and still improving. The classrooms are basic and equipped with fans, but there isn't a proper smart class setup. Wi-Fi is available in certain areas of the campus, but it often doesn’t work well. Labs are available, but the equipment and systems are quite old, making it hard to gain hands-on experience with the latest tools.

The faculty members are supportive, and most explain theoretical concepts well. However, practical experience is limited, and only a few teachers can connect subjects to real-world applications. The curriculum feels outdated and doesn’t fully reflect current industry needs.
Placements
The placement situation at MSU is not great. The placement rate is only about 10 to 12 percent. The highest salary offered was close to 3.5 LPA, the lowest was around 1.5 LPA, and the average salary is nearly 2 LPA.

College Infrastructure
Wi-Fi is not available through the college. Wi-Fi is not even available in classrooms. We get Wi-Fi in our labs, library, and not anywhere else. Quality of food is decent in hostel. It's better to go to other private hostels nearby rather than college hostel. Daily, same routine food. Sports facilities are available and are supported. But the management here is the worst.
Academics
Teachers will help only if we ask them. Those teachers only help when we help them. They are qualified and have decent knowledge about the subject, but not in-depth knowledge. Semester exams are not so simple. The curriculum doesn't make the students industry-ready.
Placements
Decent placements are here. Around 50% are placed. Least package is as low as 3 LPA. Highest package is as high as 60 LPA. Top recruiters are Qualcomm, Infosys, Flipkart, Amazon, Asian paints, TCS, etc. I don't have much of an idea about the top roles.

Like other branches, students from CSE, Civil, and Mechanical have good placement opportunities, and CSE students tend to receive higher packages compared to Civil and Mechanical students. Overall, the placement opportunities offered by the college are decent. Companies such as Microsoft and J.P. Morgan

If you want a professional career in IT, you need to continue your studies since relying only on BCA placements from this college will not yield satisfactory results.

Our college really thought about student needs from clean drinking water stations to reading rooms. Open till late. The classrooms have comfortable seating and the laps are upgraded regularly. The Auditorium is a hub for events and the hostel has 24 hour security.

Practical exposure is a belt into academic programs. Labs are scheduled right after related theory classes which helps in immediate applications of concepts. Professors also suggest additional reading material beyond the syllabus to Deep in our knowledge.

For roles in HR, the preparation session is covered labour laws, compliance rules and employee engagement models. These topics were a big part of my interview with manufacturing Company and I was able to explain both and practical application applications.
