Compared to other colleges of the same level, College of Engineering Trivandrum showcases excellent infrastructure and included amenities like seperate indoor and outdoor grounds, well established and maintained library. They also have latest equipments sponsored by potential companies for hands on experience of students. The cleanliness and food hygiene is also one of the main things we noticed at first. The college also has gazebo for student recreational activities and is equiped with high speed WiFi provided by Kerala Government.
Academics
The academic curriculam is much better compared to other colleges. The college is following the curriculam as per Kerala Technological University and frequent campus visits and updates are gives directly by the University itself as the University is inside the campus premises. Current curriculam ensures the students are even able to form a Startup, if not interested in placements.
Placements
The placements the students achieves is having an excellent average CTC of more than 10 lakhs and companies are eager and attracted to the college due to the legacy. The college also possesses a placement cell which extends support in placements activities and maintains a strong relation with the potential companies.

College infrastructure is good but not really good. Actually the college's infrastructure is good according to the college level . Water facilities and Washroom facilities are not really good it is actually very bad as I am a regular student it is not good according to that.
Academics
It is good in academics as the professors are good in my department. I am a student of BCA , the professors give us proper time in learning and understanding the concepts. The computers in computer lab are not really working.... A few of the computers are working only. Sometimes we don't understand anything due to the computers.
Placements
It's not really good in placement. It is an affiliated college and moreover a government college which is not that level amazing so we can't expect that much from the college. We can expect one or two companies to come in the college for hiring . This college often provides the lectures related to internships and placement guidance.

College or campus life is good. As there is a ground where we can sit and enjoy. It has a good canteen and also an open gym for gym lovers .

There are placements for almost 50% of the students at MIET Meerut. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average package is about 2-3LPA. I personally got recruited at Axis Bank as an operations specialist.

Wi-Fi access will be good but sometimes won't work as a normal free Wi-Fi. Labs, classrooms and libraries are well-facilitated, good and clean enough. The food will be good enough in the canteen but something will make it as a normal canteen. Nothing special. The hostel will be normal and not bad, but the infrastructure will be good and enough. Sports and Games are based on the students' interest.

The faculty members are well-educated, knowledgeable and they will be more helpful on all the aspects related to curricular activities. The teaching methods will be through board, lecture, PPT, EduSat and seminar based on the requirement. Industrial visits will be there only once. As it is affiliated to Anna University, the curriculum will be based on that only.

Placements were good enough. Almost 100% of all clear students got placed. Also, the students with 3 to 5 arrears also got placed. Placements are all about the students' stuff and involvement in the studies and placement point of views. Companies like Wipro, Hexaware, HGS etc visited the campus with core and non-core vacancies. Students also got placed in CTS, TCS, HCL, Sify, IBM etc throughout the campus arrangements provided by our college.

The sports are well good in the college. The canteen is average and restriction for sitting boys and girls together.

The college conduct two internal assessment tests. Faculty members are good but they are very strict. Two internal assessments are conducted in our college with one end semester examination. They also conducted optional tests to boost our internal marks.

Around 80% of students get placement offers. Placements are based on the branch; circuit branches offer awesome placement opportunities, while core branches have decent placements. The highest package was 53 LPA. Top recruiters are Oracle Academy, IBM, AutoCAD, TCS, Bosch, etc.
