Helping students by reviewing my college
College Infrastructure
Infrastructure of SSCBS is awesome, when I see it from outside it seems like 5 start hotel. It has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The whole building is WiFi equipped and fully Air-conditioned, classrooms are equipped with modern technologies but the canteen area is small but hygienic.
Academics
As a BMS student at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS), I can confidently say that the academic experience here is outstanding. The teaching quality is truly top-notch, with professors who are deeply dedicated to their subjects and to the success of their students.Classes are conducted in a well-structured manner, and the syllabus is always completed on time, which allows ample time for revision, doubt-solving, and deeper discussions. The faculty members are approachable and always ready to clarify doubts, making the learning environment both supportive and enriching.SSCBS’s focus on academic excellence, combined with real-world applications of concepts, truly sets it apart. I'm grateful to be a part of an institution where education is taken so seriously and delivered so effectively.
Placements
Placements at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) are taken very seriously. The college has a dedicated Placement Cell that works tirelessly to bring in top recruiters and ensure smooth coordination throughout the placement season. Thanks to their consistent efforts and SSCBS’s strong industry reputation, renowned companies like KPMG, EY, Bain Capability Network, and many others regularly visit the campus to recruit students for various roles across domains like consulting, finance, marketing, and analytics. The college’s emphasis on academic rigor, practical exposure, and soft skill development ensures that students are well-prepared to meet industry expectations. Overall, the placement opportunities at SSCBS are excellent and reflect the college’s commitment to student success.
Campus Life
I've rated the campus life at SSCBS 2 stars, primarily because of the limited campus space and the high-pressure environment. Unlike larger universities with sprawling campuses and relaxed vibes, SSCBS has a more compact setup, and the atmosphere is quite competitive. There’s a strong focus on academics and extracurricular achievements, which can sometimes create work pressure, especially for newcomers. For introverted students, it might be a bit challenging to settle in initially, as the fast-paced environment demands active participation and networking. While the college excels in academics and placements, campus life could definitely be more vibrant and inclusive, especially in terms of student relaxation spaces and casual interactions.
Anything Else
Overall, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) stands out as one of the top institutions for management studies in India. With excellent academic quality, a strong placement track record, and outstanding value for money, it provides students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s competitive world. However, the campus life can feel intense and fast-paced, with a smaller physical space and a highly driven peer group.

"Life-changing experience with mixed emotions and learning."
College Infrastructure
Good infustructurePailan College of Management and Technology is a decent institution that offers a good education in management and technology. The college has a modern infrastructure, which is a plus. However, there are some areas that need improvement. The faculty is generally good, but some teachers could be more engaging. The industry connections are there, but more opportunities for practical exposure would be beneficial. Overall, it's an average college that can be considered for those looking for a management or technology education. With some improvements, it has the potential to be a better institution. For now, it's a 3-star experience."
Academics
Student feedback suggests that some courses could be more engaging, and assessment methods might be more diverse. Nevertheless, the college's commitment to academic excellence is evident. With some refinements, Pailan College of Management and Technology has the potential to excel further. Overall, the college is a viable option for students seeking a management or technology education. While it shows promise, it requires further development to stand out in the academic landscape."
Placements
Overall, Pailan College of Management and Technology seems to have a good placement record, with a range of companies visiting the campus for recruitment. However, some reviews suggest that off-campus placements are also important for securing jobs, especially in core fields ¹ ² ³.
