I studied btech in mechanical engineering from this University. Teachers have many years of experience in teaching. Classes are held regularly. Curriculum involves every recent developments. Practicals, training provided by the university helps students become job ready.

Placements are also good. Companies like tata motors,eicher, ultratech etc visited our campus for hiring. Placement percentage was around 90% in which highest was 24 lpa and average salary was 8 lpa. Placement cell and university provide great support in getting job and internships .

As a government institution, one won't need to worry about housing because everything you need will be provided for you at a very low cost. Within the campus, Utkal has its own business zone with a variety of shops and retailers. The food in hostels is very clean. There are also available classrooms, labs, libraries, and other facilities.

I attended the MBA programme because, as I will explain, the teaching there was excellent. The majority of them have many years of experience and have completed their doctorates. They give the finest quality lectures because of their experience. Even though they will provide you notes and advice, lecturers are beneficial.

One will receive average placements in private organisations if you have an MBA. There are about 120 students were in my batch. Companies that hire people include Mahindra, Tata, and any car or commercial sector. 60% to 70% of students secured internships. Manager, accountant, ground staff, supervisor, and other roles are available.

The support from the placement head is too good and the students will be trained in such a professional manner and will be moulded on his strengths and weaknesses and will be trained at the right level and the average package is around 10 LPA and maximum is around 20 LPA.
