Yes, Loyola college has all the necessary infrastructures including well maintained and clean classrooms. The college also has the hostel facilities for both male and female. Laboratories and computer labs are well equipped and have enough resources. The college is developing in terms of sports infrastructure. Yes, the living spaces are good and the food is hygienic.

I finished doing my B.com in the college and in our department, teachers are so good and very kind to us. They taught us very well with a very good quality of teaching and use different resources to make us understand about the subject and the syllabus. Yes, the curriculum is updated.

Our college doesn't have placement opportunities. The college needs to work on this matter and develop job assistance for the students. The reason of not being able to resolve this issue is because the college is located in partially remoted area.

Currently I am studying BALLB Hons 1st year and my course is a 5 year course the quality of teaching is good and they will conduct open book exams for students and they will provide so many cases also to study

For law department placements is completely based on student performance and knowledge. Every year college will provide internships also for one month. Maximum 70-80 % students will get placement of average package of 3-6 lakhs

The best thing is that college is having separate dress code for law students. College is very far to the city(around 30 km far). Even local transport is not available to go out outside university location is not safe also

The best thing is that they will provide medical leaves also for each and every student if they have any medical emergencies. University always conducts awareness programs for poor people and faculty always try to add students also as a part of the program. Every year they will conduct orientation program, freshers program separately for law department for new student. College campus is clean and well maintained. The campus is surrounded by lush greenery and a few mountains which makes a very pleasant atmosphere. Hostels are clean, the library is well equipped with a good collection of books. Overall a nice place to study.

The curriculum is up to date with a lot of emphasis on business case studies and real time applications rather than the theoretical aspects. The faculty are supportive and the campus has a lot of guest lectures from eminent personalities from the industry.

Placements are good, but it ultimately depends on individual performances. A lot of companies do visit for campus placements with an average package of 8-9 LPA.(as of 2021). Internships during my time were a bit disappointing as most of the companies on campus were focused on sales oriented roles rather than roles focused on marketing.

You will definitely be corporate ready by the time you step out of the college. There are a lot of activities to boost student morale and we did celebrate a lot of festivities too. Here are students who are already employed after completing their diploma or high school and are pursuing a degree mainly for the credentials. They prefer an affordable education, which this college offers. So accordingly academic is okay with limited knowledge.

The placements at the college are not very strong with few companies visiting for recruitment. Students often have to put in extra effort on their own to secure employment and gain knowledge. Management should work.

It is depends on you that how you wants to live your campus life. I am much focused on preparing for government exams so I didn't enjoy much here. I must say if you want campus life, give JEE and get a good college.

The admission process is straightforward with an entrance exam that is more of a formality than a challenge. Attendance isn't an issue here. You will get a B.Tech degree that's the main thing. Forget about much exposure. MERI even call to get admission in their college.

Our college has all the basic infrastructure covered. Most of the buildings are old and outdated but it fulfills students' requirements. Recently construction of new and modern building for departments and lecture halls are taking place which is the way towards better infrastructure. Other non-academic blocks as like sports complex and other sports ammunities are also recently built and well maintained.

Academics at NITK Surathkal is highly rated because of quality of professors they have. The student to professor raito is also pretty ideal, however it varies from department to department. The department of electrical and electronics engineering inwhich I study has good number of highly skill led professors who strive towards our academic success

One more aspect where NITK SURATHKAL beats other colleges of this region is interns of placements. Most of the students who sit for placement during placement season tend to get placed, getting a decent package. However, this year, due to recession placements seems to be a bit low. But it is expected to be better in the coming years!

The placements have been really good.especially for BTech IT. It ensures placements for all the vertos . Atleast 90+% of students are placed. The highest package offered was for 3crores to BTech CSE course. The average salary/package offered is 8-10 lacs per annum. The placement process basically depends on the CGPA and the difficulty level of the process remind in the middle . The college provides full support to the students for the placements.

Teachers are so good, and they always supported us, gave us instructions, motivated us guided and provided with a good quality of education.
