The placement of my university is really amazing and it has a best placement system which other University cannot provide. The highest package this time my University has provided is 12 lpa with the great package most of the student have got please and the average salary package was four lpa .

The building of the college is very old about hundred years, however well maintained. The washrooms facilities are very good. There is Girls common room in the college. There are living accommodations near the college at affordable price.

I'm pursuing Masters of science in physics. The teachers are very nice and encouraging. The teachers provide the study materials as well as the extra materials to the students. The teaching method is mostly in English.

The placement cell of the university is very good because they are very helpful to us every time. The various circumstances for the placements are communicated to the students through emails, and on the website.

The campus life is average. i gave it four stars because there are very less extra curricular activities organized here in the department. The People are very nice however and help you at every step. The administration department is nice.

And if we talk about teaching quality, I found it to be almost ok.there are classes every day, If we talk about teaching, the professor's focus is mostly on the subject and it should be so. Infrastructure and Facilities: It's pretty good overall. Classrooms are decent, though some could use newer furniture. Labs are well-equipped for most courses, and the library has a good collection of books and online resources. WiFi is available, but sometimes it gets slow. Smart boards are used in some classes, but not all. Sports facilities are decent, with a basketball court, badminton court, and a running track. The gym is a bit small, but it has the basics. Hostels are okay. Rooms are a bit cramped, but clean enough. Food is decent, but sometimes repetitive Hostels are generally clean, but could use more frequent maintenance. Food hygiene is decent, but I've heard some complaints about occasional issues.

Why BCom? Numbers always fascinated me, so BCom seemed like the natural choice. Plus, it opens doors to tons of careers in accounting, finance, and even marketing. Plus, who knows, maybe I'll be the next big entrepreneur! Teacher Talk: The faculty is a mixed bag. Some professors are legends, passionate and make the subject click. Others...well, let's just say their lectures put us to sleep faster than a textbook slide show. But hey, that's college, right? You learn to adapt. Curriculum Check: Our syllabus covers the core stuff – accounting, finance, economics, you name it. But sometimes, it feels a bit outdated. I wish there were more courses on digital marketing or data analysis, things companies actually use today.

Placements are usually low with average companies coming in the campus. Around 10% students are placed from the campus. Highest Salary offered was around 7 lakhs in Byjus. They try to help wherever they can in terms of placement scenario by providing knowledge about the company and the job role.

Campus Vibes: Best: Lush greenery on the main building side, decent library with tons of books (and thankfully, decent Wi-Fi!), and a surprisingly decent canteen with some killer samosas. Worst: Classrooms could use some AC love, especially during Bhilai's summer. Sports facilities are okay, but the gym is tiny. Hostel life, well, let's just say it teaches you valuable life skills like adjusting to shared spaces and appreciating a good home-cooked meal when you get one.

Till now NIT Meghalaya be on its temporary campus, so the campus area is not too large and hostels are within the range of 10 km from the campus but bus facilities are there for transportation. Other than that every facility is available on the campus. Most importantly campus is well-cleaned and very beautiful.

Professors are very supportive and knowledgeable in their respective fields. I have completed my M.Tech from here in the year 2022, the process of admission for M.Tech in NIT Meghalaya is only through GATE CCMT counseling. Final year projects are mostly on trending technologies as per the current industry.

For placement, students should not be fully dependent on the placement officers only instead students should cooperate with them to take the initiative to bring more good companies for the placements. Few brunches like civil and mechanical got fewer placement opportunities. In 2022, 45 CTC was the highest package offered in the CS branch. 12-15 LPA is the average salary offered. 80% of students are placed. College is very supportive even for the post-placement processes.

Some past incidents happened between the students and the locals, so if someone wants to avoid those situations it is better not to be too involved in those kinds of incidents. Other than that campus and hostel life is very good and all kinds of facilities like hospitals, restaurants, shops, and transportation are available nearby.
