The college includes a highly developed infrastructure that includes well equipped library which has one floor for reading and one for books shelves, classrooms with smart boards and projectors, computer labs, one amphitheatre, one big ncc ground, canteen with sitting area and food is hygienic. No wifi available, no hostel available.
Academics
I completed my graduation in Bsc computer science hons., it did help me in getting job and boost my knowledge for future. The teachers are really good and supportive. They tried to gave us detailed knowledge about topics. Curriculum was balanced witj both practical and theory knowledge. Yeah this course helped me in getting job.
Placements
As in my time there were no placement opportunity, i cracked job outside the campus but teachers provided workshops and seminars to get helped, but whoever got the job from the college cracked average salary of 5LPA. Placement cell department was helpful too.

Good college infrastructure. All necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment are present. The facilities in classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostel are up to date and latest.

Academically the college is up to the mark. The quality of teaching is at par as well. The curriculum is up to date and includes all the recent developments in the field and is designed such to make one ready for the job world

The quality of placements is good. On average most students get placed who are looking fir job opportunities. The salary package is up to the mark and in accordance to the market standard for each job

The campus life is amazing. Campus life mainly depends on the people around you so if the people around you are good then one can have great campus life and if people around are not that good then one might not have that great campus life

Most teachers had immense knowledge and they shared that with us as well. They focused on holistic development. Half of my education was during the pandemic but still, the teachers took online classes pretty seriously.

The college infrastructure is quite good.Its wholly connected .The toilets aren't maintained. The benches provided to students causes great discomfort as they are quite small for a grown up to settle down.It would be better if proper benches ate provided.

I am currently doing my Masters .The quality of teaching is good but some of the teachers just expect the student to get one pointer for the concerned topic to frame the whole answer by themselves. Even after attending lectures and after doing each and every assignment dont provide you with fair internal assessment marks while the students who rarely attend classes are provided with good scores.

I personally dont know about the placements provided by my college but I know that they are good at providing placements to the students who are keen to do so.They also engage in the student foreign exchange which in my view is extremely good.

The college campus internally is good while the atmosphere on the outside is quite disgusting. It isn't safe as boys are to seen roaming outside the college in their vehicles. The college needs to take strict action as the boys creates nuisance outside the college which is a big concerning factor. There should be patrolling done each and everyday.

I had completed my Bachelors of Science with Physics from WRS Government College, Dehri in 2020. The quality of teaching is good here. I think nowadays curriculum is up to date. And the curriculum contains various activities to perform for the partial fulfilment of the course.

There is no facility for the placements here. As the college provides general degree programs and does not provides the Professional courses. But the college provides opportunity for the students to represent their college in various sports activities.

I am pursuing PGDM Analytics and Digital Business, and the quality of teaching is nice as we have industry practitioners as our faculty for some of the subjects, which is the best part as through which we get to know about the corporate world and about the industry we want to go. Also, we get hands-on experience with some tools and techniques that help us to increase our knowledge and interests in our domain according to industry standards.

Talking about placements, yes they are decent as a fresher you can get a good amount of package, and after enrolling in this program you will learn many things that will make you stand out differently and will increase your skills and knowledge which will help you in getting placements. Approx. 80 percent of students get the placement of an average of 10-11 CTC.

NIT Silchar in 2024 stills follows the same academic syllabus as it was many years back. There are many drawbacks in academic system, like it follows the strict norms for the marking scale. Academics mainly revolves about the prescribes syllabus. It must also focus on the latest technology and new updates in the curriculum.

Pre-Covid Period, placements was going fine and an average package was also on a decent ground. Post the Covid Period, the placements have been drastically detiorated. Average Package for the Year 2023-2024 is around 10 LPA CTC.
