It does have the required facilities but not at the utmost level. The living spaces lack hygiene. There is no WiFi facility. Moreover the library lacks prominent books for the students. Hostels are unhygienic.

I am pursuing BA Economics. I have opted this as my major subject so that i can contribute my knowledge for the economy of the nation.. So when it comes to our teaching facilities, it lacks rigidity and interactions. There hasn't been any update in curriculum. Nope it doesn't make us job ready.

Till now I am not sure about the placements. Moreover I haven't heard about any placements.. It ll be good if the management arranges such beneficial packages for the students... Students would be more active regarding the placements..

College infrastructure is well maintained as there are different departments for engineering and there is separate space for Mtech,MCA students. There is administrative block in which lecture theatres are located .All the seminars held in seminar hall.There are 3 Boys hostel and 1 girls hostel in campus are and hostels are also well established.

All the professors are phed holders and are well educated. All the professors have high level knowledge. In academics best part is laboratories of our college.All the necessary instruments are available so students can gain practical knowledge also. Classes held regularly as there is no vacant period and attendance must be 75% to sit In exam.Professors and Hod of respective department are quite strict for attendance.

Placements are average as the companies like Just Dial,Paytm ,Tata motors and JCB visited the campus recently and placed students at package more than 6 lakh.Placement Cell should work more on their placement strategy so more percentage of students can place in product based companies .If placement cell try to work then placement record can go up to next level.Off campus placements record of my college is extremely good.

The main point of campus life is strictness .Hods and professors are so strict as they do not allow students to sit in gardens in college timing .The annual fest is carnival which was conduct last year very nicely.Senior are also so supportive as they conduct sessions after college time for juniors to teach them different skills such as progra!mmimg languages. It is a NIT with low ranking and it is under developing conditions. The curriculum is being updated day by day and the professors are highly qualified and educated and their efforts to our students makes us job ready.

Placement are decent. It is not very bad and increasing day by day. Software and core both has decent placement. The highest package is 15 to 18 lacs and the average lying around 5.5 lacs. Most of the students are placed.

The infrastructure of the college is good. There are two canteens. The campus is clean and hygienic. Dustbins are placed everywhere in the campus. The university has its own hospital for emergencies. The classrooms are quite good. Currently there are few smart classrooms but they are working on it. The campus is wifi enabled but when u enter in classes, there will be no net, as to stop the use of mobile in classes. There are libraries for different departments. There are 2 big hostels in campus.

I am pursuing B.tech in aerospace engineering in this college. Till now the teaching staff is good. They all are of good nature and always ready to help you for any study related issues. Some of the faculties are irresponsible but major are responsible. Many teachers are there with an experience of 20+ years in teaching. The faculties are good and encourage students to do their best in studies.

The college has a good placement. Many students were placed in companies via college. The highest salary package offered was around 27L in Amazon to a student in CS. The average salary offered lies between 4-5L. The college was supportive also.

The campus life is amazing and exciting because in this college, you will meet students from Tamil Nadu, Andhra pradesh(majority), West Bengal, Telangana, chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Nagaland, Assam and almost all the states of India. It is green campus. Right now due to construction, it's not that much but soon it will be again as green as it used to be. The college has a playing ground also.

My college has all the infrastructure, facilities and equipments necessary for a person to study MBBS. We have well ventilated lecture theatres with varied seating arrangements. Each department has its own laboratories, demo rooms etc. The central library has a huge collection of books, also includes an outer library where you can sit and study without disturbance. We have separate boys and girls hostels with 24x7 security and WiFi. Hostels requires a bit maintenance though.
Academics
I’m studying MBBS to become a doctor. Teachers here are well experienced and the subject content is taught well. Doubts are cleared instantly. The college has been accustomed to the new curriculum and any new development is shared instantly.

Medical colleges don’t really have any placements. We are required to prepare for pg exams. The success rate of clearing pg exam is this college is average. This year the highest all India rank of a student in NEET PG was 3000

The college campus is nice and peaceful. Although there’s not much to do except during the fest season. The fest here is awesome. There’s lots of sporting and cultural events. We have huge football ground. Students, teachers and support staff is very helpful. Although there have been a few obstacles since the past years but the college staff didn’t let it bother the students academically. It is located in the outskirts of Haldia and is well connected by roads. The location is safe and very good.

Our college being one of the oldest medical college boasts to have a large campus area. As far as the classrooms and libraries are concerned, they are well up to the mark, properly lit, air conditioned and ample benches for a lot of students to accommodate. The hostels, being a bit old seem to be in a tad dilapidated state. The laboratories are fully functional with all modern and updated instruments. The mess food isn't quite up to the mark, but hygiene is well appreciated.

The college mainly provides degree for the UG and PG in medical field i.e., MBBS and MD/MS. Currently, I am doing my MBBS and I must say, the education quality is quite top notch. All the faculties teaching in here are well versed in their field and their caliber of teaching turns out to be quite fruitful. The curriculum does include all the recent developments in the field of medical science, and the clinical exposure we get through different wards makes us ready for the future job prospects.
Placements
The placements in here aren't like what we have in usual colleges. After completing the the MBBS degree, most of the students prepare for the PG exams. While some do apply for the post of junior doctors in different medical setups. The mandatory internship of 1 year provides the students with around Rs. 23k per month and the optional House-staffship generally offers around Rs. 35k. The college is quite supportive in this matter and provides options to hone our skills.
