The infrastructure is one of the best in IP University colleges. It has a big campus of around 9 acres which has Library, Labs, Big Playing area, AC classrooms and many more facilities. The Canteen is also good and has good food.

The academics is good as all the professors are highly qualified and have an experience of 10+ years in the field of teaching. The college focuses on practical and theoretical learning as they conduct various workshops for students.
Placements
The placement is average as compared to other colleges of the IP University. The average package for B.tech ranges from around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Various big companies also visit the campus like TCS, Mindtree, etc.

Iam satisfied with my college infrastructure and we have all facilities of hostel, library, smartclasses, wifi connection is connected only at one particular place. College and classroom are cleaned once a day.

Now iam studying M.Com and iam doing this course for my higher studies that is, I need one more degree. Professors are expert in their field. I am thinking that there is an update in our curriculum and also includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes, surely my studies will make me a job.

Placements are often offered by my college as well as Postgraduate students are only offered Placements while Undergraduate students never offered. Mostly from 60% students are selected with checking their fluency. The highest salary package was 15,000 had offered ro us but iam not satisfied with that and thus I gave average.

Environment and infrastructure are one of the strongest points of IIT Guwahati. Greenery is available with scenic beauty of mountains. Food available in messes are of good quality and various facilities are available including that for health. There are various labs available including CS labs, Chemistry labs, Physics, Mechanical workshops, Electronics labs, etc. There are separate hostel libraries and also a central library. There is also a gym available in every hostel and a central gym too.
