Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three)

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Lateral Entry:

The candidate seeking admission to the 2nd year B-Tech Degree Course in our College should either pass diploma course in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy from any AICTE recognised Polytechnic/Institute with at least overall 60% marks or have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject and Degree in Science (B.Sc.) from U.G.C. approved Universities with at least 60% marks.

Admission Details

Admission can be taken through securing merit ranks in WBJEE ( West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination ) and JEE (Mains).

By appearing and qualifying in the Written Test - JELET, which will be conducted by the "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is decent, with WiFi, labs, library, hostel, and sports facilities available. However, some classrooms and labs are outdated and maintenance is average. The campus is spacious and greenery adds a pleasant environment for students.

College Infrastructure

Labs for computers, physics, and chemistry are decent, with working tools and systems. The college library is a quiet place, and many students like spending time there to read or study. There’s a computer section too for those who want to use the internet for projects. The canteen serves basic food, and there’s space for sports and small cultural events. Overall, the environment is peaceful and study-friendly.
