College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is good, we have got two buildings which can consist all the recruited students. Earlier space was an issue because there was not enough space but now after another building have been build, this issue have been resolved. Also facilities like library,sports ground which one for the university, computer labs are available and fully equipped.
Academics
I am studying Information Technology because I was interested in it. Quality of teaching is not that outstanding but some of the teachers are too good at what they do. So its not that academics is an issue but it can be better.
Placements
Quality if placement is great as many students got placed in companies like Infosys, Cognizant but it was an off campus placement i.e. student have to go to other college's campus for getting placement in these companies. Also there were several companies visiting our campus too.
Campus Life
Atmosphere is too good as weather of Shimla need no introduction, also the view is brilliant and allows us to enjoy the environment out there. I learned a lot in my college life and enjoyed the college life too.

As per my opinion College is fabulous has all the necessary facilities. The infrastructure is very old. Infact our ex prime minister late Shri atal vihari ji also graduated from this College. Laboratories have all the necessary equipments.

I m pursuing my btech from this College in electronics and communication engineering, the teaching quality is good, the knowledge of all the teachers is good. The curriculum is revised every year and yeah its includes all recent developments or stuff.

The placements good, KIET provides 95% placements. And very well known companies such as Cognizant, Amazon, TCSz come here for recruitment. Average package is 5LPA. My college is supportive and they always supports us.

Teaching is quite good but they should not be given power to give internal marks as they wish. We had the smart classes too and we complete according to curriculam and it is updated. The library in college can help you a lot.

Good training before placements in our college. They go by formal dresses at the time of placements. Above 90+ were with good salary. Ten lakes per month.. Twenty thousand. Yes our is supportive and good trained.

It is in middle of trees and college is surrounded by trees and hostel too and the environment is so good and a quite place to concentrate . Far away from traffic sounds and having a good security to the college. In emergencies it has a dispencery near it.

Yes college has a very Good Infrastructure. All facilities And required equipments are available. Every classroom has a projector. We have e library , free wifi, Sports center. Hostel is not so good but ok. Living area is clean daily and it is food hygienic.

Well maintained labs and neat and clean lecture theaters the hostel are not well cleaned also we have to accommodate 2 even in final year we do not get our rooms cleaned by hostel management also food is hygiene but not good in taste.

One the College should include industrial visits for students , so that we can get proper industry knowledge .

Every student of our branch got placed and almost 80 percentage of students of every branches got placed with an average package of 3 to 5 Lpa . The highest package came to the CSE department this year 2020 batch of 26 lpa by Amazon . Average rating mentors, all the teachers are freshers here only 3-6 teacher have some experience..they just come to gain some experience and in 1 year they switch to another College.. every year we got new mentors who just did there masters.
