College Infrastructure
Yes, CIT does have a good infrastructure. Basic infrastructures like Auditorium, Laboratory for each stream, widespread cricket ground, and a very resourceful library is present in the campus. Classrooms are well ventilated and have the capacity to 60 students. Additionally, the college provides free wi-fi to all Jio users on the campus. Hostel students are highly benefited from free wifi. All types of equipment in the lab are well maintained and in good condition.
Academics
I am studying second-year computer science and engineering at CIT. I must mention that the college takes very good effort in teaching the students with all the updated technologies. The teacher-student relation is very important and CIT maintains it very well. Students are encouraged to participate in various competitions and projects. Sadly the curriculum is still not updated because it is affiliated to Anna University, which suggests sticking to the traditional old methods of teaching.
Placements
The quality of placement is excellent. The college takes immense efforts to make sure students are well trained in industrial standards. They offer many placement training programs for final year students. The college has also established international collaboration with foreign companies, increasing the opportunities for students to have a foreign visit, learn a foreign language, and also providing a path to do higher studies in foreign.
Campus Life
College campus life will be extraordinary and students will really enjoy it. The students can participate in various clubs like book club, eco-club, sports club, and a lot more. Additionally, students are given opportunities to be part of National Cadet Corps (NCC), NSS, Youth Red Cross, etc. The teachers are a mix of friendly and strict teachers. Support staffs are very helpful and great thanks to them. The college also has an emergency ambulance backup and a health center in its campus.
Overall it's a good college for girls!

Syllabus is formed as per the current senerio plus there is Panch mukhi shiksha which is good for over all development of students and subjects like heritage, languages, environmental studies and health are aslo there a part from the regular course material . So far the placement for CS/IT are good with aproxx 90%-95% students getting placed in reputed company with a good package higest being 34 lakhs till now. And avg being 3-6 lakhs for students. Overall it's good.

Curriculum is good but faculty not that great. The curriculum feels job ready. The faculty sometimes might not be very good as such which is pretty normal for engineering colleges nowadays. Although most of the times it feels like academics is centered more around marks not knowledge.

College boasts very good placement record but most of the placement packages are not that high. But there are dream and super dream companies visiting the college. We get the opportunity to get placed in a very good company but the competition is pretty high due to high strength.

Campus life is great although there are many in-time restrictions. What i feel is not that good is the restrictions are different for boys and girls. Recently there were many incidents where the staff was behaving inappropriately. Excluding that the campus life is pretty good.

Infrastructure is really good. The library here is fully air-conditioned and is open till 2 in the night. The labs are fully air-conditioned. You will love it here except for the classroom as they are not airconditioned so it gets really hot in summers

Academics is not so good but hey! where it is. You are in college now. You have to learn to findyour own answers. I am studying CSE with specializaton in Artificial Intelligence and MAchine Learning. Its really a skill which is in great demand these days. So there are many oppurtunities here for you to score

The placements for CSE and ECE are worth the fees but rest other branches are not placements are not so good. We boast almost 100% placements but which is not entirely true nor entirely false. The maxium package for CSE was 25+ lakhs per annum and average package is 2.5-3.5 lakhs due to high number of students enrollment.

The campus life you will experience will be a one hell of a ride. Except for early in-time for girls and strict in-time rules for both boys and girls you can enjoy a lot. The campus is safe mostly until and unless you don't get into a fight

The college infrastructure is one of the best spanning around 250 acres. All the facilities are provided for the students for their extra-curricular activities as well. Wi-Fi is a must for everyone and that's available almost everywhere. The hostel mess is not the best but good as there is a fixed menu.

I am pursuing B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering in SRMIST as this is one of the best courses that one can opt for good career opportunities with great placement rate in this college. The curriculum was updated for my batch in 2018 with the new regulations as well. The teaching quality is good, although few teachers can be more helpful than the others.

Placements are pretty good. 2019 had a great placement record as well. Few of the best companies come for placements here like Microsoft, Amazon, Udaan, Siemens, Google etc. 2019 was off to a great start with the placements as Microsoft hires a student from SRM with 38.5 LPA.

Campus life is pretty good as we get almost everything within the campus itself; there's not much need to go out. The fact that SRM Hospital is located there itself within the campus gives us an advantage as well in case of emergencies.

MBM has facilities of hostel,libraries,labs,wi-fi,all are good and working properly. Hostels are quite old but clean and spacious. One can get unlimited internet and electricity there. College canteen is not good as it not mantained well. Food in mess is not good but you can switch mess too.

MBM is famous for IES Generator. Mainly companies come from CS/IT branch as core branch student basically prepare for GATE and IES. Last year the highest package was 15LPA given by Adobe. MBM is one of the best mining college in India.The average package for mining is around 6-7 LPA.

The Somaiya Campus is just huge. It homes many different institutes for all kinds of programs. The classrooms are very spacious and well lit. The best thing about this college is its libraries. Once you have your college Id you have access to all the libraries of the entire campus. That's like hundreds and thousands of books just for you to access. The college over-all is very clean and well maintained. The food is hygienic but a little overpriced.

I am BA student so this is my perspective. Being an autonomous college they design there own curriculum which is quite updated and informative. I doesn't necessarily prepare you for a job but there are different extra curricular activities that help you have a more practical approach. The faculty is highly qualified and knowledgeable.

The placement here is very average. Very few students actually get selected and the packages are average too. Top companies do vist the college very year but there is not very much scope. The highest placement has been 70% and the lowest has been around 30%.

The campus life is really good. The best part about it is that there are many things you can you in your free time. The work part about it is that there is literally no network ever. The area is really safe and is in a walkable distance from the railway station. There are other facilities like autorickshaws available. They have an emergency room in case of an accident. The college also has a very active anti-ragging cell. You won't here any ragging cases here. It's a very comfortable environment
