We have a placement cell which informs us about time to time via emails but for life sciences it does not provide enough placements. But for other departments like MBA, BDA, MSW etc. It provides good opportunity.

We have WiFi in our college which is accessible to every student of our college, we also have smart boards which enhance interest in us. Placement is one of the main highlighted here at KIIT University. 3156 students placed till date with 1200+ students bagging multiple offers. Top 35% students placed at Dream companies with CTC 6.50 lpa or higher. 20 companies offered 10 lpa CTC. This year highest package till date is 30 lpa by Amazon and average package gone 5 lpa. The infrastructure is really beautiful since the institution is 127 years old. The college covers an area of 100 acres. The campus is lush green with more the 7 parks. The classrooms are very spacious and airy and hardly requires AC. There is a central library and every department has their own library too. The only demerit is the furniture in classrooms are very old, dusty and very little is done in terms of new facilities like white board and projector in each classroom. And no canteen.

I have graduated in Defence Studies because I wanted to join Indian Army. Teachers are helping and the curriculum is up to date. No the studies doesn't actually made me job ready, it was my own efforts. Though the curriculum is up to date I could barely find books that could help me grow.

There was no such provision, specially for course I was enrolled in. We had limited number of seminar and exposure. The student crowd was not that healthy. Student usually came to college for fun and hang outs with friends.

The college campus is beautiful as it was developed during Britishers era, the architectural design is based on the same. Tall trees add to the beauty of these buildings. The classrooms are not high tech instead anybody will find it exact opposite. There is hardly any engaging programs for the students. I am a CS student and the teaching here for CSE is decent . The curriculum is designed keeping in mind industry requirements . Not touch depth but just enough. We have a pratice school(internship) in second and fourth year

The CS placements are really great . Average was around 17-18 lac CTC . Highest was 34 lac in hand as far as I know . The placements for electronic branches are great too with an average of 14-15 lac CTC .

The academics part was average as the quality of teaching was average. Latest development and innovations were not seen to be part of academics as much as we can see in present times. Therefore, it was somewhat fine.

The placements were not good as only limited resources with limited facilities were available within the college due to which there was not quality of placements and process was not so easy. The college was average in terms of support.
