The exam structure is divided into 3 parts. 1st midterm tests - There are 2 midterm test which takes place and score is evaluated on the basis of taking the average of both the tests. 2nd Practical/Viva - It is the subject-specific viva or practical which takes place 10-20 days before the semester exams. 3rd Semester Exam - It is the final exam which is a written test which is of 80marks and 3hrs duration.

TSEC has 100% placements for CS and IT. It is thus preferred by many IT aspirants. The CTC starts from 3.5L and extends up to 14L per annum. Around 40 companies recruit students from thadomal Shahani. The date of interviews is coordinated by TPO. It makes easy for students as they don’t have to apply it by themselves.

Some of them have done phd in their particular fields. But if we look upon at the curriculum its not a well managed. Its totally like school. When a person comes to college he/she is allowed to choose their own subjects. But here this dosent makes you job ready as their is no opportunity for internship.

The overall experience here at Djsce is great. There are a few things that can be worked out for the good. The campus has fully centralised AC and that seems an advantage over the most of the colleges in Mumbai. So I am quite pleased with my experience till now.

The course seems to be pretty good theoretically but lacks practical touch. They should've added more of practical experience for students which is really helpful in future. The lack of practical knowledge leads many of students to fall behind in the factory or industry sector where practical knowledge is really necessary.2 unit tests in 1 sem and there are 8 semesters as such. Now the colg has become autonomous!

The placement scenario was good enough. Almost 100% of students good placed through ma ss recruitment. The gender ratio depends on different departments for e.g Biomedical department has approximately equal number of boys and girls whereas the mechanical department is full of boys. The new Curriculum of DU is quite advanced it covers variety of intresting topics and subjects (in case of B.com) it tests and increase your conceptual knowledge. The faculty of Hansraj is very good. We have some of the best teachers in India. They are very friendly as well.

Placements are satisfactory in commerce department only colleges which are better than hansraj in terms of placement in commerce are SRCC and Hindu. Average package remains around 5 lakhs every year. Comapnies from different sectors visits the campus during placements.

As an electrical Engineering student I can say this confidently that SPCE is the third best engineering college in Maharashtra after IITb and COEP in electrical engineering. It gives a good platform for future study and a lot of opportunities to grow and develop. Labs and classroom are up to mark. Food is good.

There is exam after every 4 weeks which is called as test 1 &2. At the end of semester there is End Semester Examination. In test 1 and 2 each subject carries 20 marks. End semester carries 100 marks. Also 50 marks are for internal revaluation. It is all clubbed together and CPI out of 10 is given. Teaching is good.
Placements
Around 30 to 40 companies visit college for placements every year. It includes both core and non core companies. Job opportunities are good in reputed companies like L&T, tata. Average salary is 4.5 lpa. Highest offer being 7 lpa. Around 85% students get placed and other opts for higher studies.Despite having just core subjects SPCE has incredible placement record.

I've heard that quite reputed companies like Tata, Mahindra, BAJA, etc visit the campus during the placements. There's a placement cell that one can get in touch for detailed review. The average package of a student is 400000 per annum and the highest package goes up 2500000 per annum. There was also a student in the computer Engg that took a package of 75 lakhs a couple of years ago.

There are many extracurricular activities takes place , there are different teams such as DJSracing - it builds formula cars and compete other international teams at formula Student Germany DJ's RoboCon - they build robots every year and compete with Indian teams and many other teams etc , there are indoor sport facility available in college such as chess carrom and table tennis but the college lacs for any outdoor sport facility.

I studied computer science, The professors and faculty are really knowledgable in their respective fields. They put in all their efforts to teach every topic until depth. I will say scoring marks in these colleges is a bit tough especially in core branches.

diploma courses are not provided the placements it is one the main drawback for the people who are persuing courses. But only provided with pool placements. So it is bad to say that diploma is not suitable for getting a job immediately after the studies.

If they had above 6 cgpa, then they have a chance to be selected. the highest salary package offered is around 18000.our college is very supportive of us. They conducting personality development class for us and it will be very helpful for our placements.

I studied Bachelors in Commerce here because I wanted to have an acumen for the commerce as a subject. The quality of teaching was good but the main problem is that half of the classes get cancelled due to mass bunk. Students barely attend the college here because they are busy with their professional courses. The college comes under Calcutta University and the system lags.

The placements are somewhat disappointing. Don't expect much, you have to rely on off campus placements as well. The salary offered is like 1.6 LPA to 6 LPA depending upon the position you are taking. Companies like PwC, Haldiram's, ITC, etc come for placements

The only bad thing about the campus is that it doesn't have a ground, rather it has a compound actually. The campus life is good and frequently you will find big celebrities coming here for promotion of their films. The staffs are friendly but if you need to focus in your studies, don't engage too much.
