The teaching quality of the college is very good. The best part of the college itself is the academics and the faculties are very supportive and always ready to help the students in every way possible.

PSIT is currently one of the best private college in North India and ranked 1st among all private engineering institutes in UP. It's placement record is remarkable. Infosys, Capegemini, Wipro, TCs and many such major companies recruit students every year with an average package of 4-5lakhs per annum.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure. Starting from a world class library to a well equipped gymnasium. The canteens here are well served. The college has a big hostel for both boys and girls with seperate blocks for accommodation. Overall , infrastructure wise it is well equipped and well funded.

I am pursuing B.Tech in Civil engineering. PES offers 4 year B.Tech course in five branches namely: CSE , ECE , Mech. , Bio-Tech and Civil. All the branches have a scope of good placements at the time of placements. The curriculum here is well updated with recent changes and the professors here explain all the concepts and details of the course properly.

The placements record of PES has been quite good for the past few years. The college has an average annual package of 8 LAC. Students have also successfully bagged packages as high as 50-60 LAC per annum.
Campus Life
Campus life in PES is very happening. There's something or the other happening every month. Let me cultural fests , literary activities , hackathons , sports events , fests , etc. Students in PES also find themselves involved in various clubs available here.

Our college infrastructure is good but it was old.our college has good laboratories , seminar halls , auditorium,play ground and digital classrooms and digital library. Our college has hostel facility also for both boys and girls.

I'm studying mechanical engineering. Our college is good for mechanical but not best. Our college is autonomous college with good systematic schedule and curriculum is updated every year as per JNTUH declares.

The quality of placements in our college is not so bad , every year about 40% students get placed in companies . But maximum among that are software jobs , there is a less percent of site jobs. But college is trying to improve on this every year.

The facilities are good when counted but the quality of facility falls short of the payment they take. The WiFi facility is poor with time being limited for its usage. All sports are covered but their place is often used for other purposes like football ground for cultural activities. Living spaces are clean although the mess quality is poor. Libraries' number of books which can be issued is very limites. The hostel can be more accomodative
Academics
Academics quality is highly affected by the fact that the proportion of management quota is 40-50%. The professor are okay, not much great. The problem is that there are 20-25 sections making its management difficult. CS students although get good exposure because of its structured curriculum but it does not make one job-ready. Very less help during project submission.

Approximately 500 companies visit the campus on an average which is quite a good number. But this stat does not reflect towards placement stats. Average placement is around 4 Lacs,highest being 32 lacs. The placement process is not transparent. Students are forced to sit even if not interested.

Worst features are the qualities of the facilities. Food and water are not good. There are frequent issues. There is a predefined dress code(like school). Good features are the clubs and fest's. They are good and famous. Auditorium sitting capacity is good.

Infrastructure, facilities and equipment of VESIT is upto the mark. It's well maintained. Food hygiene is considered as the main aspect for students health. We had wifi in entire college including canteen, library, classrooms, labs etc. Hostels were near by college premises so students didn't have problem to reach college on time as well as could access to mess in their hostel. So it's a well planned infrastructure.

Vivekanand college follows Mumbai University syllabus and it's pretty same for all the engineering colleges in the city. I have completed my electronics and telecommunication engg bachelor's degree from here. Teaching stuff has got some experienced teachers as well as few new ones. It's a balance. It's makes yoh job ready if you participate in co- curriculum activities of your department. Extc students have been encouraged to participate in intercollegiate competitions as well to enhance skills

The average salary offered is 3.5 lacs to 4 lacs per annum. And the highest is 12 lacs per annum. We had placement Training sessions to prepare us for these competitive placements. 60-70% people who seat for placements gets placed in an average companies atleast. Rest depends on your interpersonal and technical skills. Opportunities are wide here. Staff is also supportive here.

The teachers and staff are pretty strict here. 75% attendance is compulsory not matter what. If you fail to do that, strict actions are been taken. Students engagement is good here. You get to explore a lot in here. College campus in near residential area so it's completely safe. It's 15-20 mins away from kurla railway station as well as chembur railway station. Emergencies can be dealt properly. You need not worry once you enter the campus. It's safe for girls too.

There is a separate building in the campus surrounded by coconut ,neem,mango and all tall trees. it is indeed a beautiful campus full of greenary and the buildings are newly contructed with well equipped classrooms .Also the canteen is a delight and serves delicious food. Also there are arrangements of parking within the campus itself.

Lectures are conducted regularly and at most of the time attendance is quite full. The curriculum is quite up to date and also teachers teach us about the recent developments in the field ,which helps us a lot in our future career.Also recently a session of industry experts was conducted who helped us guide towards our career.

The placements of the college are quite good as compared to other BCA colleges in the city. Almost 80-90% of the students are placed here every year and the average salary is around 3-4 lakhs. Also many students get a salary of 8-10 lakhs per year. The placement process is quite easy and teachers mentor us constantly about what to do and what not to. Also mock tests are taken in our class prior to the interviews as well.

The college has one of the best campus life of Pune. The budget of the college is also quite high and all the events are celebrated with great enthusiasm. All students are encouraged to participate in the annual social gathering which boosts each and every student's confidence. Also all the days like the traditional day, bollywood day ,etc are celebrated with great joy. The teachers help us with the fests and all the decorations are done by the students itself.
