Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

i) (a) After Higher Secondary (10+2) in Science with a minimum average score of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and qualifying WBJEE.
(b) In the 2nd year, intake in some seats from 3-year B.Sc.(Hons.) according to merit.

College Infrastructure

The college is well equipped and all the facilities are used to the fullest. We have great classrooms, well equipped libraries, sports centre and hostels. The living spaces are cleaned every day and the food available in the canteens are hygienic.

Its a good college to pursue research and development degree

The rajabazzar science college of university of calcutta is the oldest and one of the renowned institution of India. Infrastructure is so glamorous and attractive but internal construction is very good. All the lacture halls are air conditioning and having projector screen...

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good. Class are clean and well maintained. Bathroom are relatively clean than other institutes in Kolkata I've seen. Most of the classes have AC and projectors. The departmental library is well built.
