College Infrastructure
Library is well equipped with the syllabus book as well with plenty of references and journal access to international publications along the digital library accessible on campus. The living spaces in hostel is well maintained with daily cleaning and sanitation. However the mess is well equipped but lacks in the production of quality food. The computer labs on the other hand are in poor conditions, with no air conditioning and old computers which are of slow processing powers .
Academics
The syllabus is recommended by the AKTU itself and is followed by the college but lack the adaptability with the department as we had study quality management in the dept of CSE which is quite irrelevant. Curriculum has gone through major changes by the university. There is not much of freedom to the lecturers to teach in their respective way and a mouth fed data is provided to students just to perform well in the respective academic exams.
Placements
College has one the of the worst performing placement cells out there. They mostly tend to steal the individual's placement performances in off campus placement and tens to project their own effort. The have been major incidents of fake placements and companies offering pennies as compared to the market opportunity of packages and performances. With lack of adequate resources in the lab students are expected to out perform the ones who had all the resources available to them.
Campus Life
There is not much to begin with on the campus apart from monotonous academic routine. There is not much of club or a society to begin with. The cultural fest or departmental functions are a result of the advisories of the university otherwise students are confined to strict routine. Not much of "out of the box thinking" is appreciated. With 6 days of 9 to 5 study hours which could even be scaled by 9 to 7 all you are left with tired mind which can not do much .

Amazing historic building with great heritage structure. Canteen has a lot of space for people to sit along with other places to sit. Washrooms are good, but could be cleaner. Classrooms are well maintained and library is very accessible

Amazing opportunities and great exposure along with an extremely helpful faculty that guides you. Honours courses and interdisciplinary courses are also offered for students to ensure that they dabble in other fields.
Placements
More focus could be on media and other fields too. As of now, only corporates are coming to the college. This has no doubt benefitted a lot of students, but for a college this famous for its media studies and arts, some companies should be brought here too

Amazing.. with all the fests that are available and also all the activities including extra curricular and co curricular, campus life is great if one wants to experience different things...there are various departments too that students can join

The quadrangle is the highlight of our college. Every activity performed there could be viewed from any direction of the college. The rooms are spacious and provides the students with an excellent library.

I took up the course of bcom.It is a 3 years course.Teacher were highly qualified and supportive. It has subjects like accounts and commerce which are constant in all the 3 years. More theoretical knowledge than practical.
Placements
Good companies and firms approach this college. During our year there were about quarter of century companies that approached. Lot of my friends got placed.The placement cell does a wonderful job. Got a internship myself.

Made lots of friends. And the networking got really strong through college events.

The infrastructure is good of our college since it's a new college.. it has two canteen in the campus even though it's not a big campus and WiFi facility is also available to students..the computer labs are very good and big .

Academic wise the college is very nice.. I studied bsc biotechnology from here and the teachers were very nice and helpful towards the students. Whatever we asked them they answered us even if they had to study about it .

About the placements, i think this college is not good for placements. I've heard that the maximum package is of amount 25000 rupees per month which is average i think. But better than not getting anything.

There are various activities for students and several seminars and sports related activities held there in our campus..fashion shows and dance competition before the covid 19 also held so it was a great experience overall.

Ramjas is one of the best college of delhi university. It has one of the best faculty for humanities and commerce branch. Societies such as melange ,dramatic and others give students amazing platform to groom them for their bright future! And yes it has all the necessary infrastructure for a college student.

I am studying BA prog., good teaching staff they very supportive and helpful. Ramjas is very famous for its arts faculty. Professor are very knowledgeable, they make us wonder in every perceptive of every topic.

Placement is okayish, only science and commerce students get placed every year with maximum 8 to 9 lakh per annually which quite good for commerce and science students. It is very good for those who have taken languages which gives amazing post pf translated

The infrastructure of this campus is really good with a lot of classrooms and facilities for students are very well available. The living spaces are clean and maintained really well. In my personal opinion i can say that if you are looking for a placement right after you graduation this college is worst for it. There wont be any placement opportunities for students in this college. I hope they are providing placement assistance in this college now.

Almost everything is available her in the campus and a large area is yet to be built later for many other facilities. Buildings and Hostels and other facility centres are well maintained as well. Hostel facilities need more improvement.

I'm studying ECE here and the quality of teaching isn't good.I don't feel quality is good in anywhere else in india as well. Curriculum is quite good but feels outdated sometimes. Sometimes i feel why i study these.

Apparently the placements are good here not great though. I've heard of average placement is around 8-10lpa for ECE students with highest package of around 20+ lpa to lowest of around 3lpa. Majority packages lies in 5-8lpa.

we have some good faculties but most of them are not helpful although all of them are atleast Mtech from renowned colleges. Labs- every lab is air conditioned , power system and machines labs have enough equipments but control system , microprocessor , and power electronics labs don't have adequate arrangement. Classrooms- Rooms are big enough but not air conditioned. Library - All required books for courses are available there. But you have to renew your library cards every month.

we have 150 students per year, so 600 total students in EE . there are 30 electrical engineering teaches and 20 others from BES or CSE or ME or CE department also take classes. • qualification of teachers- all of them are MTechs from IITs or other renowned Universities. Some of them are PhDs . 10-12 of them are really helpful and you won't wanna miss their classes but rest of them are not good enough. Most of the classes are boring but if you try hard enough every class will help you .
Placements
From 7th semester students are allowed to participate in hiring process. • companies - TCS, BYJUS , COGNIZANT, MINDTREE, DXC , ITC , WIPRO , are significant recruiter who hired some students. TCS hired most , 14 students and most of the other companies hired one or two students. • only 30 % of us are placed , luckily I am one of them. • only one student has been placed by core companies. Only one came to our college. Rest of them are software Engineer or sales executive jobs. •

FEST - avenir is the name of the cultural fest It is held annually , at December. College students participate in fests.bands or singers or famous entertainer are generally not brought by feat authority. There is also a tech fest but techno group arranges that. • Library- you can get any required book for your course. Enough books for all students. But you have to renew your library card monthly or you will be charged late fine of 1 rupee/ book/ day , which is huge .

Facilities provided by our college management were very good. Our campus was fully Wi-Fi enabled. The library consisted of books related to all the fields. The quality of food served in the canteen was very good and hygienic.

Our curriculum is totally updated and knowledgeable. The college is good for academics. The teachers here are skilled and well learned. In this college the quality of teaching is very excellent for us .
Placements
Students who have passed out from this college got placed with high salary packages. The starting salary package was 3 LPA to 7.5 LPA. Internships were not provided in our college. Students got placed in the IT sector, banking sector, etc.

The infrastructure of K. J. Somaiya college is very good. The guards are present everywhere. No outsider is allowed inside the campus without proper verification like I'D card is mandatory if you want to enter in our College campus. the classrooms are equipped with smart board nd full inter aaccess. The classes are big but not developed as a private institution should have when they take this amount from students. There are a variety of labs with all basic functionalities. The institution prepare themselves to look good before UGC comes for inspection and then goes back to the old golden days of their. The food is okay but don’t expect sports. They have built a nice library to accommodate 100 students at least.

The professors are good but only when you reach out to them. Some try to motivate only their favourites but will be unwilling to do so for each and every child. I was studying btech in cse of which you will find the most crowd.

They bring good placements only in the main campus though you can find some coming specifically for Ramapuram. The average goes around 3 -3.6 lpa but you can try your luck for higher compensation too.
