The programme is designed to designed to prepare students for a career in the corporate, across all functional areas. The programme enables students with strong conceptual skills to manage businesses in an integrated manner and also develops versatile managers who are capable of handling responsibilities across domains who can respond effectively to changes in the economic, technological, cultural and political environments in a socially sensitive manner. The Programme inculcates a strong sense of business fundamentals along with ethical values.

Eligibility Criteria
Education background
A bachelor’s or equivalent degree, in any discipline, including Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Economics, Medicine or any other branch of education, from a recognized university in India or abroad (recognized by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities). The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification of the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education, post higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2024. Candidates who are unable to comply with this requirement are liable to be rejected from the programme.
Eligibility criteria
50% marks or equivalent CGPA in graduation from any AIU approved academic institution. Those graduating in 2024 may also apply.
Admission Details
Candidates who apply online for admission into PGDM will be shortlisted on the basis of
- Entrance Score (CAT/XAT/CMAT or GMAT score)
- Academic Record
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process – the Individual Assessment
Individual Assessment Process (Personal Interview) will be held in January/ February 2024(tentative).
Past academic records, performance in the individual assessment process along with other qualitative parameters, like quality of work experience and extra-curricular activities constitute the core components of the selection process.
The IMI Kolkata Admissions Committee reserves the right to modify these components while communicating these to the applicants at the Individual Assessment stage. The overall objective will be to identify and assess the candidate’s potential for a managerial career.

Life at IMI Kolkata has been one of the most transformative journey for me. Infrastructure has been excellent, with rooms that are highly well maintained, house keeping staff visting daily for cleaning, classrooms are well-equipped, so is the library. It gives us a holistic environment to develop ourselves.

College is not that big but it has all the facilities and equipments ,with classroom facilities like wifi,smart boards,and all those are well maintained,food mess is also maintained near and clean with all the food facilities.
