The infrastructure is really good.It does have hostel facilities and a good quality of food. Every campus is surrounded by greens and the atmosphere is peaceful everywhere. Wifi service is available and it does have sport centers. The laboratories and the classrooms were good.

The teachers are wonderfull and they act like a friend ,they show the path for the better life and also teach us the moral of life and respect to the society ,how to fight with our downs in our life and create opportunities for us.
Placements
The training & placement cell here organises various events like guest lectures, corporate meets etc to provide placement support for the students. However given the pendemic situation, what i have observed is that the placements have not been that good in the past few years.

Almost all the students are willing to join in our institute as it has the good acadimic career for the students to gain required knowledge and to improve specific skills towards present market needs. The best faculties with excellent. laboratories were subjected to train the students.

The placements are dependent on the basis of students curriculum academic studies and their skills that how better they can compete in the interview level. In the last year students having 7.0 cgpa or above are eligible for placements. Here placements process are somewhat easy. College management is supportive.

I graduated as a B.Com (HONORS) student. The quality of teaching is absolutely outstanding. The teachers are helpful. Yes the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

Placement cell is not very satisfactory. Mostly placement options are not available. For better placement opportunities morning colleges are more beneficial. College is not at all supportive in placement activities.

I had my best life experience in this college. The colleges fest were the best thing that happens in the DU colleges. Many societies are established so that the students can participate according to their interest.

Infrastructure is nice. The campus is very big. It has also a reading room in which students can sit peacefully and study there any time. College has big classrooms with smart boards, benches, ventilator etc.

For academics, it is average college. Teachers are highly qualified but they don't take much attention in the teaching. Students have to study themselves to clear even the semester exams of the college.

Placement rate is 100%. Student who pass all the semester examinations with passing marks will get internship with a good stipend lying between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 17,000. After that, students will go for the post graduation or apply for private hospitals.

Iam pursuing biomedical final year currently.Already placements have been started for us.Probably,we also got placement training from our college .Especially during this pandemic time, many webinars have been hosted in online and we also got assess to many coursera courses .It was useful and exciting to learn new things each and everyday. The latest technology in apparel manufacturing or the fashion segment, the textile as well as handloom sector is taught here which is preparing us for the industry requirements of 3-5 years ahead. The teaching quality is awesome with most of the faculty have a long term experience and are Phd. degree holders in their respective fields. We have faculties from IITs as well as gust faculty are also there on requirement basis.

The placement scenario on campus has been affected due to covid this time. Though one cannot expect lucrative packages in the domestic companies. It starts with min. 2lpa-4lpa and is further increased while you work in the industry. The companies even the renowned ones does not offer lucrative package. Students usually grab off-campus placements and are satisfied with the available company or they further keep on exploring opportunities. There isn't much support from the college wrt placements.

The campus life is amazing with NIFT Hyderabad, situated at the posh locality one can get all major services one calls for. There are events and seminars happening throughout the year. We celebrate festivals, have DJ nights. We have college fest once in a year (Spectrum) and (Converge Inter NIFT Sports and cultural fest). Teachers are supportive like guardians here. The campus is 100% safe. The campus handles emergencies really well as its a govt. funded college.

I am studying in Textile Technology department where teacher are very good and the reason behind this is the experience . curriculum is shifted toward the research sector rather than industrial aspect. This might be problem for finding jobs in industrial sector.

Placement is average . only few stream are grooming while other faces lots of problem in their placements. In Textile Technology last year 70% students were placed and highest package was around 16 lac per annum & average was around 4.86 lac per annum. Placement process is easy and placement coordinator and staff is supportive.

campus is situated at the corner of city jalandhar , so that their is a small market or you can say shops near to campus . campus environment is energetic and competative due to student activities in order refine their knowledge . Teachers are very supportive but hostel staff are little bit rude .

There are several clubs in this college. So students can involve themselves in one of those. We have a cultural club, a sports club, a tech club and a film club. I am a member of the film club. The students, teachers, support staff all have a really nice and welcoming atitude towards the new ones. It's located in Sonarpur. It is actually between Sonarpur and Kamalgazi road and it's a safe place because it has complex, shops, medical shop and restuarants around it so no need to worry.
