College campus of Shri Ram College of Commerce is very beautiful. Best feature of campus is that it have ACs in every classroom and worst feature would be it campus is little small. There are many clubs, societies to engage for students. Teachers and staff are also very supportive. This is the most negative part of this college, infra level is not upto the mark, for first year classes are held in NAB which has good infra and every resource for a modern-day lecture requirement, but 2nd year onwards classes are conducted in old departments in which many are not air-conditioned,classes,labs are very old,I am giving it 3/5 because PEC have ECE and seimens EE labs(really next level),for mess and hostels, it will take time for adjustment but you will start loving it.

I am in electrical, though academics of this college are really poor, this scenario is with most of the IITs and NITs and PEC is at the same level as them, the thing is no one here cares much about academics, 8CG is a bar for placements and most of the students study 1 week before to cross it, at the end placements matter, students spend more time on learning required skills rather than old curriculum academics for a better career, and I believe this is the best pf tier-1 colleges.

You can say PEC is a placements machine, Overall Average package this year is 16.9 LPA, For CSE 25LPA, For ECE 18.3LPA,For EE 15.2LPA, you can calculate for others too by overall package, Highest on campus was 84LPA given to 6 students, Off-campus highest was 1.5CPA, Elite Companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc visit campus almost every year, so you can get an assured placement once you enter a circuital branch in PEC(you have to work hard, students are very competitive in nature).

If you can manage PEC's Chandigarh College life, then it is heaven and if you can't that will be hell for you.PEC's own campus literally has nothing inside it, but here comes its location, it is in the main centre of Chandigarh, and everything is available in a radius of 10km, including hospitals, clubs, pubs, stadium, cinemas, malls, libraries, gardens, lakes, hills everything, you will get a peak to enjoy of your life in PEC for sure(again only if you balance it with career building).

My college is the near mountains and the climate is good. The security system is very good but we cannot go out without putting a pass outside. So that we can know who is Is coming and going out.

Yes my college has good infrastructure.the labs are well equipped for all the departments even a small branch had a well equipped lab. Tha quality of placements are good and it is purely upon the students knowledge and skills. The highest package was nearly 50LPA and it is offered for CSE dept and for the ECE it is 49LPA. Placements are purely based on the skills.

The campus is not that excellent u can get a descent campus life. fests will be less there will be only outing passes for a month this is bit harsh but apart from that everything is fine over here. I am enjoying my campus life too.
