College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is average. All facilities are provided and maintenance is average. Labs have only necessary equipment for experiments of the curriculum. Wifi is supported in all the college blocks and hostels but no speed. Living spaces are clean and there is no serving of non vegetarian food in college.

Academics of my course is good but the quality of teaching is not bad. There is a lot of self study to do and curriculum is aonly average because it doesn't have recent developments. The HOD of my department is intelligent but coming to student issues he is not that good.
Placements
Amrita university have lovely placements. All the campuses students come to main campus for big companies. Almost everyone gets a job at Amrita. Core jobs percentage is less compared to IT jobs. Ratio of core to IT jobs is 1:3. Average salary for core companies is 8 to 12 lakhs per annum.

Our campus is not so big but big enough to accommodate the population of the students its having all facilities with full library and well maintained labs and all sports facilities. Here food of mess is edible and at good prices.

Our college follows the updated syllabus very strictly here teachers help you to gain practical knowledge as well as help you on your live projects in your BTech. Here they are little bit strict about their attendance scenes.

USAR provides an average package of 7 Lac per annum with highest package being around 20 lac per annum here college supports students in getting there job and make them ready by taking practice test for interview.

Every department gets good number of jobs and the quality of placements at my college is pretty good and it is around 60%. Gradually the placements are increasing in core fields and average salary offered is inbetween 5 to 6 lakhs.

I don't know if you would find any other good universities in this state. It is one the most well developed and modern university installed with the latest technologies, stocked with thousands of books over wide ranges of topics. It provides affordable hostels and food is tasty.

I am studying BHM at this moment from this university. There are no words to describe how much the faculty has helped with the curriculum and preparing a for the real world challenges in a learning environment.

What more can I say, the university provides the best of placements each year. Last year the highest no. Of students were selected from the engineering department and the management department. The highest salary package is around 30 lakhs per annum from what I can recall.

Infrastructure is good, but only from the outside. The classrooms need to be renovated, they look so bad. The benches and tables condition is also not that good. Washrooms are not clean and is not at all hygienic.

I am studying Computer Science and Engineering here because I always wanted to do something in the field of tech. I came to this college as I got no seat in other good colleges. Most of the faculties are bad. They don't even know fluent English and they just teach for the sake of completing the syllabus. Yeah the curriculum is updated and includes almost all the recent developments in the field. What we study will surely make us job ready but only if the teachers taught well(some are good).

Placement is not that good. College claims to give 95%+ placements to the students every year but it's not true. For the purpose of advertisement they are playing with students. Most of the students who get placed get their package around 4-6 lpa. Some very bright students get around 10-12 lpa and the others get 2 lpa which is of no value. The highest salaries is always bagged by the CSE students and this time MBA students also got good packages.
Campus Life
Yeah, they campus life is somewhat good. There is a beautiful temple. There are multiple food points. There is a college canteen. There is a vast ground for all type of sports. There's a basketball court as well. There's a swimming pool too and the whole institute is surrounded by beautiful greenery. Talking about safety, yes it is safe and the college also has a dispensary. But besides that, the nearest hospital is 4-5 km away from the institute. The college also owns an ambulance.

As of I heard, the placements in my campus are very well and eye grabbing. The percentage of students placed are approximately 55% above. Average salary offered by core companies of CSE department is 8 to 12 lakhs.

The placement quality of our university is quite extravagan. From what I can recall last year 87.5% students to 90% students were please in good positions at good companies like TCS Amazon Flipkart. Faculties are very good they teaches us to the point so that we can get good marks in the semester exams. They also provide notes that helps a lot in preparation for exams. All faculties are well qualified from IIT,IIEST,IIM etc. Classroom are big and quite airy. 90 students can seat in each classrooms their are two big auditoriums for organizing meetings and intercollege events. The campus is one of the biggest in Kolkata.

I'm studying Computer Science and Business Systems Engineering in this college. I'm currently in 2nd year. This stream is very interesting and not too much different from CSE but it has some extra papers which makes it more interesting than CSE. I prefer this stream over CSE as it is more advance that CSE. This course has several papers from MBA which will help you to prepare for GATE,CAT exams as well and there is several paper related to Machine Learning also.

AOT is giving more than 85 percent placements in all branches from past 5-6 years and it's leading the race in the current college industry. Campus is very beautiful and it is one of the biggest and finest campus in the whole Kolkata. In the middle of it there is a big pool in the campus.
