College provides all the basic facilities like classrooms, sports grounds, auditorium, cafeteria, mess, hostel, mess , gym and many more which is well maintained by the management. The canteen provides affordable meals prepared with hygiene.
Academics
Pursuing MBA which is a two year full time course. Teachers here have experience of more than 4 years and are expert in their respective fields. They provides adequate study materials to students and the curriculum is updated every year so it aligns with industry standards and recent trends.
Placements
The average placement is 9 lakhs and internship opportunities are also present. The placement cell ensures a smooth flow of process so that every students get placed. Course trains all the students well to make them job ready. The teachers guide students individually and prepare students for GD and PI.
Campus Life
The campus life is fulfilling which provides diversity to students in order to grow in every perspective. The teachers, staffs and students gel up together even though there is cultural difference. Situated at a safe location and can easily handle any emergency situation. The general hops are present nearby which has all basic items available for students.

Gokhale institute of politics and economics is situated at deccan in Pune. The campus is more than 90 years old and was founded by servants of the Indian society. Though it has limited space there is tall building of 6 floors where most of our classes takes place. The new academic building has very unique features which were not available before like digital classrooms and meeting rooms for students. The college also has a huge library named after famous economist D. Gadgil.

I am currently studying MA economics at GIPE. The course curriculum undoubtedly caters the future needs and make students job ready. Our teachers are NET qualified and few are PhD holders as well that too from abroad universities. College conducts regular unit tests along with semester end exams and tons of assignments which will make you to leave this course and go for a vacation because the course curriculum is designed in such a way that students will not get any time for leisure.
Placements
Placements are very good of compared it to other colleges because our recruiters are MNCs. Last year 70% students from MA economics course got job offers from companies like PWC, EY. Average package after completing your masters from GIPE will definitely be more than 6LPA. Few exceptional students get up to 15LPA for their exceptional academic record. The placement cell is very helpful to everyone. You can start appearing for placements from in your final semester.

I personally believe that the infrastructure of some colleges of Delhi University are not very good specially for the sol student as the regular college do not provide any facility to the sol MBA student like Wi-Fi facility.

Academic is good as school of open learning provide books material to the student home address who are not from Delhi and it also give online classes to the student on team app. Some teachers are supporting as they mark important questions.
Placements
School of Open Learning provide placement drive and job Mela to the SOL graduated students. The MBA course is new in SOL the department is working on good placement but it is expected there will be not very high place package placement.
Campus Life
Students enroll here to get a reputitive DU degree.It does not organise any fresher, farewell or any refreshment parties. SOL do not provide any teachers support and staff support for engaging student in curriculum activities.

I am electronic and communication engineering student and believe me electronics branch has one of the most strict faculty in whole college .Teaching quality depends on teacher some are exceptionally good .

Placements are great for circuital branches (cse ,ece,ee) for other branches it is average and other depends on hardwork of student.No college can guarantee you placement until you do companies do come here but in the end it's all your hardwork. Not enough opportunities are given to students in terms of placement. The college instead takes the credit of students who get placed off campus. They never treat students like they should. Time, energy, money and efforts are wasted.
