Overall college experience for me is a bit boring.
College Infrastructure
Classrooms of our college are like other colleges' with black boards and adequate number of tables, benches and fans. The labs are not well maintained and often lack equipment. The library is better than the other facilities found here. The classrooms are often found dirty and we the students clean them ourselves during our use.
Academics
Academics in my department is very good. The teachers are not only very fluent in their own fields but also have very good teaching qualities. However i've heard some other departments are not well equipped with such teachers for example the physics department where two of my close friends study.
Placements
I do not have very good idea about placements from our college but from all that i've heard they're not that good. Every year my seniors do get their placements in someplace or another but they often pursue higher studies.
Campus Life
College life for me didn't reach the expectations that i had in my mind as i am unable make that friends and having lost a lot of my school friends to other colleges makes my campus life a bit boring. But other than that it wouldn't be bad for those who can enjoy this life to the fullest.

College Infrastructure is really awesome. The college entry gate has a big statue holding the name of KIIT. The whole campus is wifi enabled.The classroom and laboratories are clean and equipped with high standard projectors. There are more than 15 food courts.

Academics of Cs branch is good at Kiit. The curriculum gets updated every year seeing the future field of the branch.The teachers are highly experienced and many are passed out from iit or have done extra course in iit and nits. The lab assistant helps the student a lot before the exam . The academics is made such that it gives space to students from study sessions.The curriculum has everything which is need for semester as well as for placements
Placements
Placement is pretty good at Kiit. Giant companies like Amazon ,wipro, microsoft recruit students every year. Adobe pays the highest package of 39.2 lakhs and it ony for female Candidate. The placement cells works hard to prepare the students for the placement session.70% students of KIIT are placed and every student of Cs department is placed.The college is very helpful and guides us during the placement drive time.

Students can live with nature here. Yes, it is an amazing campus life. A great auditorium and outdoor games auditorium is made for the students. Staffs are more supportive and friendly with us. NSS also available here.

I have seen many colleges before joining SRM . But the reason I joined SRM apart from education is good infrastructure and facilities. libraries have good books and the thing is that we can access our college wifi. labs, sports, classrooms are good, places are very clean and hygienic. classrooms have projectors for better teaching

The good thing in SRM is academics .We can get quality education in SRM. The course syllabus are kept upto date by the institute authorities. The industrial exposure is provided by the college from 6th sem onwards. But before that a student on his own can do industrial trainings in which the faculty advisor and HoD of their departments do help.
Placements
In campus placements, SRM offers a lot of companies to work with. Although the average package is around 4-5 lakhs P.A, it can go upto 60 lakhs P.A. for some students. Alumni network in SRM is good. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Infosys and Wipro. Nearly 50% of the students got internships in Ashok Leyland, TVS, etc. Top roles offered to the students are assistant manager, supervisor, etc.

SRM has many technical and non-technical clubs. So extracurricular activities and events are carried out throughout the academic year. Also SRM has two fest- Milan (Cultural Fest) and Aaruush (Techno-Management Fest). Both are 4 day fest and a lot fun activities are held in those 4 days.

I study information science and the teachers are good and supportive . They are pretty strict with assignments and yeah there's gonna be a lot of them. The curriculum is satisfactory it's affiliated to vtu and there's only hope if vtu decided to change the curriculum .

Placements are outstanding and almost 80% of the eligible candidates are placed with avg package being 8.5lac p a. The collage provides enough support through orientation classes and mock interviews and is supportive to take up internships

The trend of the placements depend on the previous year so it'll always be a gamble but rest assured there is always a significant amount. If you're looking for a campus where you want to be part of various clubs and take initiative or want to represent the college in various events, especially tech, then this college is advisable because of it's less strength and it's easier to reach out to the faculties in charge. We also have Legal Aid Clinic, Moot Court Hall, Conference Hall, convention hall, Presentation Hall as well. The classrooms and halls are well maintained and cleaned everyday. We also have a huge auditorium and a 3-storeyed convention centre for various functions.

Quality of teaching is really good. Curriculum is not so updated but the faculties make the students update about the recent developments. Faculties are really friendly and are always approachable for both academic and non- academic issues.

The Placement system to also good. In 2019 almost 80% of the total strength were placed in corporate sectors, few cleared the judiciary exam, and few started litigation. The college provides great opportunity for internships as well.

Campus Life is very friendly. There are students from different departments like Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotech, MBA, BBA, Even higher secondary students as well. SNIL is situated in Campus-2 of Siksha O Anusandhan Deemed to be University. It provides ample opportunities to the students interact with other department students. Hostel Life is really safe, friendly and are strictly 0 ragging zone.

Yes mckvie has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. We have sufficient electric supplies in our classrooms and laboratories. We have air-conditioned computer laboratories with proper maintenance.We also have wifi connection which can be accessed from any corner of the college. Mckvie has a campus where students can spend their leisure time and get some fresh air. It has a basketball court and an area for playing cricket. Everyone here including staffs and teachers are supportive and student-friendly. It's situated in an urban area with hospitals and clinics at a distance of about few metres . So it's really safe.

Located at the heart of kolkata, this is one of the oldest colleges. Probably it was quite renowned in its initial days but now it is in a pitiable condition. Every year during the monsoon, the college is completely submerged and due to lack of proper drainage system the bathrooms overflow. It is very difficult and unsanitary for the students to attend classes under such conditions.

Though there are a variety of courses offered in the college, i would say the academics are not upto the mark. No creativity and innovative ideas are discussed. Also, library is also quite disappointing. Students probably read the books read by their ancestors. It is very rare to find updated books as per syllabus.
Placements
There are absolutely no placements at all. Students have to work hard and keep a track of the companies that they might be interested in. There are no oportunities for any internship or summer projects as well.

Some events like fest and saraswati puja are organised in the campus but no other notable and essential events like sports and other extracurricular activities are not paid attention to. Also sometimes quarrels and fights break out among union people and students
